Marian began to find herself feeling almost back to normal in the outlaw clothes. She had thanked Djaq for offering hers, but they simply wouldn't fit, so taking one of Allen's shirts, and Much's smallest trousers, she thanked Allan for finding them for her (although it pained her to do so), but before she could finish a smile he whipped around and stood hands on hips waiting for her to get changed. She shook her head and walked off quietly to the most secluded, darkest and private corners of the camp where she was sure no one could have gotten a view, and changed as quick as she could, strolling back to throw the ragged white dress into the heart of the fire.

Djaq shook her head and let out a small laugh. She didn't know if that was a compliment or an insult to someone, but she wasn't going to ask. "I have some looser fitting clothes," she said, thinking of the tunic she wore to Robin's birthday party. And she still had that dress, the one that caught both Will and Allan's attention. She couldn't resist another small laugh at that thought.
"I suppose I could come with you to get some clothes," she said, looking at Marian. Seeing the interaction between Allan and Will was awkward. Sure they had been friends and then Allan betrayed them, but Djaq was probably more forgiving.

Marian stood by the fire in her new clothes. She felt more comfortable in them than the white dress, but longed for clothes that fitted her properly. But where was Robin? Why didn't he tell her he had gone somewhere? Or anyone else? She was starting to get worried, and perhaps she'd see him in one of the villeges. So taking note of Djaqs offer, and the growing tention in the camp, she nodded and gave the girl what she hoped was a befriending smile. She was glad there was another girl in the camp, being here with Robin was brilliant but she missed having girl friends, and Djaq did seem lovely. Before she went to leave she said "Tell Much he'll have his shirt back by this afternoon"

"Hey, hey! Wait for me!" Allan called, marching over to the side of the two ladies. He gave them both his best smile but wasn't surprised when it didn't work. He sighed and hung his head. Did he really have to admit it? He didn't want to. It seemed silly, and yet...
"I want some new clothes too?" he seemed to ask rather than say. He then dashed out of the camp and onwards towards what he hoped was Knighton, because frankly his sense of direction after such a bad nights sleep was terrible.

Djaq gave an Allan a disbelieving look as he tried to join in on the band wagon. Though it was true, he only had the leather outfit Guy had given him, and though it looked good on him, he looked a little evil. Djaq stood up and walked over to Marian, ready to go. She had lost her vest in the Holy Land and now only wore the shirt and pants with a belt.
Djaq then looked over at Will, asking with her eyes if he was coming along. Perhaps if they were all out in the open and not in the forest things would feel better, and she had wanted to talk to Will as well. Djaq did admit to herself that Will and Allan needed to talk first.

Allan gave a sheepish grin to Djaq as he dashed past. What could he say? He didn't want to be left alone with Much, and he did want some new clothes... He was just hoping no one questioned the money he used to purchase them. Even when he was working for the Sheriff, he trusted no one and knew that the gang would as soon have stripped him of his wealth as kill him when they saw him, so he had a little 'safe spot' halfway between Nottingham and Clun, which he'd visited the previous evening.
Allan stopped and turned when he noticed no one was following him.
"Bloody women," he muttered to himself, tapping his foot impatiently. He smiled briefly; was he including Will in that category? Either way, he wanted to get a move on! It was symbolic to him - the faster he could shed his clothes, the faster he could shed his past. It was second nature to him - clothes were a prop, a skin, and with new clothes he could take on a new role. It was the art of lying; the art of acting, as he sometimes called it (usually when he was drunk or feeling particularly pleased with himself).
He fiddled with the buckle on his jerkin. If he were honest, he'd miss this particular piece of clothing, but only because it was warmer than anything he'd ever owned before. Oh well...

Noticing the three of them break off in to conservation made him slide in to his normal quiet nature. He rarely only spoke when needed or if someone was talking to him. Hearing one of them mention getting some new clothes made him looked down at his own attire and noticed he was also in need of some new clothes as well.
Lifting his head he caught eyes with Djaq and simply smiled "I think we are all in need of new clothes". Smiling lightly he followed in step beside Djaq and Marian as they made there way up the hill. Passing Allan he gave the older outlaw a tiny look "Why in such a hurry?" he said with one raised brow.

Finally, finally they caught up with him, and he grinned. Especially since he'd managed to hear what Will had said. Yep, he's a woman! he thought, making him chuckle. Unfortunately, the glee was short lived when Will asked his question. Drat him for being so direct! What happened to the quiet Will? It wasn't something he wanted to share an honest answer about. So he smiled and stretched. "Don't see the point in wasting time, right? Besides, I don't want to be around when Much sees the state of the place. Bit messy ain't it?" He took a few steps and caught up with Will, falling into step beside him with practised ease. It felt natural, and he was quite glad of that. "So how's Luke doing, mate? He alright?" Allan asked, wondering if Will had heard anything. He was genuinely concerned about the lad, because both brothers had struck a chord with him. He and Tom had been like that, in a circutious way.

"Yeah, he's alright just misses our father" Will said with a sad smile. The death of Dan Scarlett was something he would never forget. It was more of the aftermath he had caused then his father being murdered in cold blood right in front of him. His sick twisted revenge almost killed the Sheriff. If it hadn't of been for Robin the Sheriff would of died of the poison he had slipped him.
"He wants me to visit him in Scarborough when ever I can" sighing lightly he tugged at his shirt cuff a little. "Well more Auntie Annie then Luke" half smiling he shook his head a little. The last time he had seen his Aunt was before he was outlawed last year. Though he was close to seeing her again once Allan had suggested that they leave the gang behind and leave with Gisborne's money.
