Name: Sebastian Mannering

Position:(Outlaw, King's man, Sheriff's man, etc…)Prince John's man and as such a Sheriff's man.
Job: With lands and significant wealth handed down to him by his family he has no specific job. He is closely backing the Prince in the plot to overthrow the King and isn't above getting his hands dirty to do so.

General Appearance:(Minimum of two paragraphs, please) Sebastian wears his hair swept slightly to one side with a kind of carelessness that can take him several minutes to perfect. He prides himself on his appearance and his mouth is usually turned up in a lopsided, if a little smug, grin that has stolen the heart of many a girl. His piercing blue eyes, straight nose and smattering of freckles only add to the attractive quality of his features and he flaunts them whenever possible.
At six foot he is considered tall, although not overly so. This and his slender frame give him a spry, spirited quality as he is always filled with a flippant energy. While he is slim, he is by no means weak and he has enough muscle developed to make him subtly powerful.

Personality:(Minimum of two paragraphs, please) When with a woman he is trying to impress Sebastian can be smooth, charming and the epitome of good grace. With his education and background he knows how to behave in social situations and is a master of hidden scathing comments and subtle displays of his own power and wealth. He is open and confident, unafraid to voice his own opinions and can be known to show an almost childish enthusiasm in things that interest him.
There is a darker side to him as well. He can be needlessly cruel, discarding female suitors as and when the fancy takes him to do so. Sebastian also has a sadistic streak. He enjoys hunting and has never been known to raise an objection to Prince John or the Sheriff's questionable methods of taxing and dealing with peasants. He is vain, proud and can be belittling to others as he has little confidence in their talents, preferring instead to rely on his own ample talents.

Background:(Minimum of two paragraphs, please) Born into a wealthy family Sebastian was spoilt by his mother, however his father was always there with the pressure to ensure the he lived up to the Mannering name. The family has always backed the power most likely to reward them with the most strength and lands and have amassed a great wealth over the generations.
Growing up in an environment filled with backstabbing and devious behaviour Sebastian quickly learnt to be the same way. His approach to life has always been to follow the power and throw money at any problem until it goes away. When he was 17 his father arranged for his sister to be married to a duke and while he resented his father for a time for seemingly selling his only daughter to the highest bidder he soon came to appreciate the added power and social standing that the marriage had awarded the family.
His father died not long after, leaving everything in his will to his son and leaving his wife to rely on the limited kindness of the then 20 year old. He gave his mother a small monthly allowance and rooms in the family home but otherwise had little to do with the woman. The Mannering alliance to Prince John is Sebastian's latest attempt to amass more wealth and he is willing to go to any lengths to be sure King Richard is overthrown.
Anything else: Sebastian has training in both fencing and sword fighting and, as an expert in both fields, he would never stoop so low as to brawl with someone. Besides he is far to careful of his looks to consider getting in a fistfight. He is also educated so he can both read, write and ride horses.
