About your Character
Name: Lillian Waters
Nickname: Lily
Age: 17
Country: England, Nottingham, Merton
Position: Peasant
Job: Baker's Daughter
Eye Color: Grey
Hair Color: Brown
Height: 5'7
General Appearance: Lily has long wavy brown hair and is rarely seen without a smile on her face. She stands at an average height, which is often hidden by her slight slouch from leaning over a work-bench. The girl is fairly pretty, even if she is covered in flour most of the time, but she doesn't let it get in the way of who she is.
Although her peasant gowns are often simple, Lily likes to decorate them with various ribbons and flowers she finds. She often wishes she could sew so she could design he own dresses, but the only times she tried gave her the few scars she possess from the needle.
Likes: Baking, ribbons and flowers, to style her hair, smiling, daydreaming and the outlaws
Dislikes: The Sherrif's ruling, the way Lord Merton ignores her village, fussy customers, when people steal her decorations, thinking of her mother
Personality: Lily is mostly a happy girl, with few cares other than whether they'll get the right amount of flour and be able to bake their orders in time. There is a slight air of sadness about her, as she cannot forgive her mother for what she did to her father.
She is always friendly, unless given reason not to be, and believes that everyone should have the benefit of the doubt. Lily is very caring and will always try to help when she can, even if it's just words of comfort.
Lily has always had her head in the clouds, according to her father, dreaming of anything and everything. When she was little the dreams were of princesses and princes; now under the Sheriff's rule she dreams of being whisked away by outlaws. The chances of it happening are slim, but a girl can dream! She finds daydreaming makes baking more interesting.
Family: Father - David Waters - 45 - Baker
Mother - Josephine Waters - 38 - Left, whereabouts unknown
Background: Lily had a happy childhood, all sunshine and smiles in a happy family. Until she was eleven. Six years ago, her mother left to go to the market and never returned. Lily and her father don't even know if she's alive; but Lily hates thinking about what happened. Either way it is not a nice outcome; either her mother is dead or her mother left them.
Her father taught her how to bake from a young age, quickly showing an amplitude (that the right word) and her father often joked that she'd take his place as village baker. Though the jokes stopped when her mother disppeared. After that he got very over protective of her, afraid that he might lose her too.
She doesn't really remember the old Sheriff - he never affected her way of life - but since Vaysey's reign she's noticed life has got harder. She and her father get less custom as people have less to spend.
Anything else: Her mother did run off, and she ain't coming back. Her father also taught her how to read and write in case orders came on paper rather than in person.
Face Claim: Emily Browning
RP Sample: The smell of cooking bread filled Lily's nose as she sat outside her home. The sun beat down on her as she sat in a particularly sunn spot of the front of her house. Merton's people walked past without so much as a glance at her. Lily sitting in front of her house was a common sight. It was where she waited whilst the bread baked, sometimes with a book.
She twriled one of the ribbons on her plain dress as she read. Though her mind wasn't on the words in front of her. Her welcoming smile crept across her face as she thought of a dramatic scene taking place in the square. She would be in there, saving the day, without a care for the consequences.
It was all just a dream though, Lily would never dive into danger. For one, her father would never let her and two, she would be useless in a dramatic scene. She was always better in the aftermath, there to pick up the pieces. But one could always dream, dreaming never hurt anyone.
