Name: Lord Brian Merton
Nickname: Merton

Position: Noble/Sheriff's Man
Job: Lord of Merton; Suck up to Vaysey

General Appearance: Lord Merton is rather handsome, though his personality often counteracts that. He had long-ish brown hair, that likes to curl sometimes. He's tall and well built (despite being unable to fight). He has dark eyes like his sister, but his aren't as observant.
He wears loose, yet repectable clothes - not overly fancy, but fancier enough to establish a difference between his attire and a peseant's. He carries weapon holders just for decoration, to make himself look more imposing.
Likes: To be in the Sheriff's good books, to get one over on his Noble 'friends'
Dislikes: His sister, outlaws, 'do-gooders'
Personality: Brian Merton had always been self centered, he was the older sibling, first born son and was indulged as a child. He looks out for number one, and if that means he has to suck up to the Sheriff then so be it. He fears for his own neck seen as how his father was killed for betraying the Sheriff. Brian fears more than anything that the Sheriff will suspect the same rebellious streak his father and sister had/ve has rubbed off onto him.
He is also a coward. He will look down at anyone until they threaten him, then he'll wimper for his life. His confident smug exterior is just as mask, really he is a fearful man.
Family: Father; Lord Walter Merton - deceased (When Brian was 22)
Mother; Lady Alexis Merton - deceased (When Brian was 17)
Sister - Lady Daine Merton - 18 - Brian hates her because her actions could mean bad news for him.
Background: Brian has lived in Merton all his life, only travelling round Nottinghamshire. He took interest in running the Merton village from a young age and when the new Sheriff came to power he was quick to make alliances. When his mother died, he tried to remain un-phased and went about his business, but he still mourns her to this day.
When his father died, Brian felt little remorse. He was left with Merton (even if he did have to share it with his sister until she got married off), and the days of living in fear that the Sheriff would discover his father's plans were over. Since that day he has become more self involved and cares even less for his people.
Anything else: This character isn't always going to be played by me. Probably hardly ever if I can help it, I can hardly maintain Daine
. Also, if Daine and Brian were ever to argue, it would be a little boring for us all. I'll put up adverts and whatever when he's needed, and I'll PM the password or sommit. (If that is all allowed, that is.)
