About your Character
Name: Robin of Locksley
Nickname: Robin Hood
Age: 24
Country: England!
Position:Outlaw
Job: To be the amazing Robin Hood!
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Brown
Height: 1.83m
General Appearance: Robin has cute a boyish face with an adorable smile, if not slightly cheeky. The outlaw has what can only be described as designer stubble that frames his face but is kept clean and tidy. He wears his brown hair slightly long and it sweeps over his forehead, just skirting above his blue eyes. At 6' tall he is quite lean, he doesn't look overly muscular but he can handle himself, and is much stronger than most perceive due to his fighting in the Holy Land. Both hands are rough from fighting and his fingers have toughened due to using his bow in the crusades. Garment wise, he normally wears earthy colours likes beiges, browns, green and a black leather body warmer on occasion.
Likes:
Marian.
Much and the rest of his gang.
Being loved.
Helping those in need.
Robbing from the Sheriff.
Undermining the false authority of the Sheriff and Gisbourne.
Dislikes:
The Sheriff and Gisbourne.
Prince John.
Those who have been treacherous to King Richard.
Needless violence.
Death of the innocent.
The Black Knights.
Personality:
Many would call Robin egotistic or arrogant and to a certain extent the outlaw is, after all he is only human. And despite his good deeds for the people of Nottingham there is a undertone of darkness to him. This is an offshoot of what he has seen and experienced in the Holy Lands, he left them a changed man and although he tries to stick to a belief of not killing people, there is that possibility he may lose control. Robin has seen enough violence. It's fair to say Robin is highly principled.
The outlaw is an idealist, he believes people can change and that he can really make a difference in the place where he grew up which is now corrupt thanks to the Sheriff and Guy of Gisbourne. Their authority doesn't perturb him in the least, he remains undaunted by it and often does all he can to undermine their power. It makes him bold as brass and it's also the one thing that can get him into trouble, along with his 'heroics' and dry sense of humour.
Since coming back all Robin strives to do is fight for the people as an outlaw. People who he knew well who are suffering in poverty, having to pay taxes that are leaving them in a terrible state and having to watch as the Sheriff squanders the money of the people. It is his aim to fight for justice and reclaim what by right belongs to the people. This can make people believe Robin is single minded, but it's only due to the fact he doesn't openly talk about his emotions or his own ambitions. Robin tends to bottle up, and eventually loses his temper, which is generally in the form of a wild rage. Some people, such as Much and Marian, have seen him emotional and say what he truly feels, but it is rare. Robin endears himself to his people and loves to be loved, and if that's how people see him, it's how it will stay.
Family: Both his parents have passed away.
Is engaged to Marian.
Background:Robin grew up to become the Earl of Huntingdon and Lord of Locksley. However, he lost everything and became an outlaw upon his return from the Crusades. In the Holy Land he was fighting for King Richard as one of the King's Guard and received an honour from the King himself. When he returned it was to a poverty stricken Nottingham where people were only just surviving. Because of what he had been through in the Crusades, he refused to kill the Sheriff or Guy of Gisbourne, but he has constantly thwarted their plans and will continue to do so.
Another surprise when he got back to England was that his childhood sweetheart and his fiance before he left to fight for his King was still alive and single. Although Marian and Robin's reunion was less than pleasant, he has pursued her and it still very much in love with her, and even more so when she supports his and his gangs aims Although Robin is glad she is independant, he worries about her often and would rather her stay safe and sound. However, the outlaw knows she will fight for her people just as strongly as Robin himself will. Which brings him on to his best friend and loyal Man Servant Much, who has followed him through thick and thin. They've grown up together and are still best friends to date.
