Age: 16
Country: England
Position:Stable girl
Job: animal career, specializes in horses
Eye Color: deep blue
Hair Color:Blonde

General Appearance:Jahz has long blonde hair that goes down past her shoulders, she is about medium height for a stable girl and is strong in the arms and is almost considered stocky, her finger nails are never clean and are always short, her hair only gets brushed to be stuffed back under a hat. Her cloths never seem to be clean; you would guess that she comes from one of poorer families. She holds her grand mothers touch, she is always having the way with animals, not that she could talk to them but she was at one with the world, she could sit for hours and wait for something to crawl along, though she does need something to keep her mind off either the things crawling up her leg or the boredom.
Jahz’s skin is a tanned sort of flaky brown colour, but mostly its dust from the stable yard, she has the smell of horseflesh floating around her, and the mixed smell of her mother’s perfume that was constantly floating around her old household and Her eyes have the smart a laic look hanging about them but also holds respect and a childish glint that makes her who she is. Her long blonde hair runs in the family but she is the only one who has it as long as she does, her eyes are from her fathers line, everyone in his ancestry had her blue eyes and she is proud to say she kept the tradition coming. She strangely looks a lot like her twin brother John, though her brother has the rough face hers is smooth and a little baby faced.

Personality:Jahz could never fit in at her home, she was to reckless and not rule abiding, she was a gentle spirit around the animals. She showed interest in archery when she was about 10, her father was proud to see his daughter could handle a bow with great care and speed, her mother wanted her to grow and be a pottery maid but she said from the start she would rather pluck her eyes out from there sockets before that, oh and she’s very blunt if you haven’t guessed, she is polite to her master or boss, because they give her a roof over her head and of course are higher up then herself.
She has caused a lot of trouble in her own town, but when she is in a different place she keeps her head low until she knows what she can ether do right or to get her head chopped off. She loves her bow and arrow and is normally taken for granted, she looked weaker then she is, though never underestimate the small and weak. Jahz loves being young the good thing about it is that she knows she is young enough to get away with some things and old enough to know what is right and wrong. She gets along with... out casts, she likes being unique and hates being the same as everyone else, thoughts she fits in perfectly with a crowd she somehow feels out of place, she feels more at home when she is among people who don’t look twice at her and like her for who is, not for some stuck up strange girl who likes to roll in the mud.
Family: Mother (Anemia Griffiths) – Deceased
Father (David Griffiths) – Alive
Brother (John Griffiths) -Alive
Background:Jahz grasped at the thin sheets that covered her mothers bed, tears dripping down her face, she felt like they were seeming from the rivers pool, her father sat next to her mother and her twin brother John sat beside her, trying to be the big tough guy but it wasn’t holding out. Jahz felt her mother start to shake but her hazel eyes opened softly and she spoke, her voice sound like a beautiful soft birdsong “Jahz, John? Are you there?”
Jahz's tightened her hand softly on her mothers hand, trying to find something to say, but she felt the words die and curl up in her throat as she tried, feeling John speak up beside her “We're here mummy” She smiled but her thin lips perked slightly as she spoke again, Jahz felt pain shoot through her.
“Oh my two babies, remember I love you… I love you..” She broke off Jahz felt her hand squeeze then let go completely. Her father had tears in his eyes and John now had tears pouring down his face, Jahz felt her won tears renewing themselves, oh what had happened, she wept, cradling her mothers white hand in her own small fingers.
Finally her father couldn’t bear it anymore and picked her up, carrying her out to her room, John trailing along behind. He put Jahz down gently and ran a hand over her face, brushing her wet hair away with a sweaty hand “I love you both too.” he said as John climbed in next to her and cradled her with him “Never forget to be yourselves, both of you” Jahz fell asleep in her fathers hold, and John as well.
That was only when she was four, Jahz grew up, along with her brother her father re-married to an old hag of a woman, they moved to a farm were they both learned pottery work, though this woman now her step mother could never produce her father another child she tried to fill in her mothers position, by trying to make Jahz into a lady but failed miserably and let Jahz move out to the stable and learn her fathers trade.
Jahz’s hands worked swiftly skimming over her geldings coat, his beautiful dappled hide glimmering in the dusk of the night, Jahz planned to leave this town, she needed to be as far away from that woman as she could, and she also seeked adventure, a normally girl would be pleased with bread and butter on the table, but Jahz wanted to go and see more then one town! She didn’t want to dwell in this mud hole forever. John leant over her stall door, he being 16 had a thick mug of brown hair floating above his eyes, witched looked exactly like Jahz’s herself. He was smiling at the conversation they were having as the riders from the day came in “So your saying that DRAGON, that Dragon could fly the oxar.” He pointed to her horse.
Jahz snorted and said “Could beat you any day.” people say they had developed there own language, but it sounded like plain English to Jahz, people are getting stranger nowadays.
John entered the stall, highly offended and said “You're on.” he knew that she was leaving tonight and he didn’t want her to leave, she offered for him to come, but all he said was ‘you need your own life, and plus, dad needs company’ and that was the end of that. She put her backpack in the stall and hid it under a blanket. John put his hand on her shoulder and said softly “Are you sure you want to do this? I mean you can easily just not go and live with Mary for a couple of years”
Jahz looked to him and he sighed, he had no chance of convincing her. She took his hand off her shoulder and whipped grime from the stable off her hands, she untied Dragons rope and then they both left the stall. Jahz took a glance around, the old walls had the beautiful horse smell wafting around them and a dung pile was close to the exit. Jahz kicked a stone with the corner of her shoe, she sighed, this was harder then she thought, but she still wanted to go.
Jahz crept silently out of the house, shutting the door she looked to the night sky, the rain was howling down and the cold wind slashing at her throat, pulling up the hood to her cloak she walked slowly to the barn, her boots crunching on the wet dirt as she entered the barn, she saw the light she had left on, no she didn’t leave a light on, then she saw John he was holding Dragon ready for her, her big horse was standing still watching her with big black eyes, he hated the rain, a lot but she knew she had to go tonight otherwise she would keep putting it off.
Jahz reached out and ran a hand through her horses mattered mane, her wet fingers rubbing his silvery dappled hide, when she retracted her hand she was flung into a hug “I am going to miss you.” He nodded, when he let go Jahz held him at arms length, then she said words rasping in her throat “I guess this is it then.” He nodded, Jahz checked she had everything, her bow, check which was upon her back, arrows, check she glanced to them to see them all tried to the saddle, food, check, that was saddled in her saddle bag and money, check that was in her belt strapped firmly in.
Jahz took the reins in the hands and grabbed a scuff of Dragons mane, putting her left foot in the strip she pulled herself aboard, making sure her foot was firm in the metal, Jahz tightened her reins and took a glance at John, he had the barn doors open wide, the wind was howling as splattering upon the rooftop, some of the horses in the barn rushed around restlessly at the sound of water rushing it. Jahz took a swift glance at John, this was one of her spur of the moment ideas she mouthed ‘goodbye Jonny’ and then clicking her tongue for Dragon and letting her strip hit his silvery hide they galloped out of the barn into the swelling storm.
Her hood hung closely around her head as Jahz field through the town gates, Dragon picking up speed as he jumped through puddles; the only thing herd from her bleeding eardrums was the downpour of the rain and the beating of his hoofs. Jahz’s breath jumpy as they cantered on through then mist and rain. The patterns of rain changed as she ventured further into the forest, pattering down and rolling off her hood she cast her eyes around the wood, she slowed Dragon to a walk, the stallions paces slowed as he arched his neck and watched through the black silence of the night melted in as the rain stopped and lightened to a small summer rain shower, pulling her hood off slowly her eyes went down cast to a small sign, halting Dragon she read it aloud ‘Sherwood forest’ a smile was painted upon her lips as Jahz clicked her rasp tongue and let Dragon walk further into the forest, new life ahoy!

Face Claim: Amanda Seyfried
RP Sample: This is form awhile ago, at a place called Mist meadows, this was my evil mare Serpentine
Serpentine had been spending a lot of time to herself since her Fathers death, though this wasn’t unusual, normally spending time to yourself was a good thing, but silently doing northing was worse, she hate to admit it but she missed her father, any good warrior thinks that, it didn’t give her strength, her hoofs hitting the hard limestone as she left her home, she had heard of the mare challenging for her homeland, and she knew she was going to fight for it, tossing her tiara up into the frosty sky trying to clear her head.
The trees blackened in her home, it smelt of death, not that it didn’t send a chill down her spine but she was getting sick of it, that is what was sending the chill through her lately, going through all the well know terrains, they looked a bit overdone with the fire, not that way she liked it. Ha she had made a joke, in a time like this? Well that’s Serpentine for you.
Stopping for a split second to take a look over Mist Meadow, her home, a lot of the forests were burned and full of black smoke, now winter was moving in and as she neared the cliffs and listening to the horses cry and they fell to there death, her horse frame shook with excitement, this being her fist battle would be one she would remember, knowing that her sibling would kill her if she lost this battle, she made her way on.
Stopping on a rock and watching a battle of two horses, they both seemed smart circling each other, never shifting there eyes then the bay one made a mistake, by looking at the twig he snapped dimwit was the first thing that came to Serpentines head, then the black one plunged, landing on his back. The bay totally shocked by this movement but trying madly to kick him off, finally flinging his against a limestone wall made Serpentine flinch, the black who looked as if done this many times getting up and rearing, slashing the air, forever coming closer to the target, the bay, gob smacked at this old fart getting up and trying to hit him made her step to the side, but the black one, expecting this landed on his front legs and swung his hind legs to the bay, hitting him right in the face, making a certain female watcher chuckle for the first time in weeks. Now the fight wasn’t over, the bay stallion struggling to regain though let the bay get around again and then hitting him in the chest, perking her frosted ears forward in interest at the bays next move. The bay gathered himself while the black was in the air he charged right under his chest, making the black fall onto his back yet again Serpentine excepted that the black would enjoy the ride until a certain spot in the wall was located, and doing exactly that and rolling of his back pushing his hind legs into the stallions chest and sending this huge stick coming out from the wall into it heart then getting up and shaking, the bay stallion hanging dead in shame for losing to an old fart, Serpentine would of clapped, if she had hands good show she though, hopefully he will be there to see mine.
Turning and walking down a frost covered hill, leaving her Hoofbeats imprinted in the newly laid frost, snow was starting to fall and her coat was the prettiest ivory, but she hated to admit something else, her sisters was the prettiest, but she had the best power out of her hole family, her fathers power. Seeing a large field and a horse down there, she was the mother of that 19hh did he come there by coincidence or fate? Snorting and continuing down the hill, her heart pounding in her chest, now was the time she would decide her fate or Darktarn’s.
Her hoofs echoed on the ground, blood pumping in Serpentines ears, remembering the fight earlier excited her, this was the way horses should meet, fighting to the death and if they lived, sure they could be friends, but that would make less horses in the world and people would take over, now that couldn’t happen. Being warmed up already was a good thing, she watched Darktarn, being a silent creature she said nothing, waiting and hoping the frost would over come this meadow and freeze one of them, she pawed the snow harshly, and she wanted this over and done with.
This kilometer of free space was the pest pace for a battle, the air was fresh and cold, filled with death and fear, but this fear was not hers, it was coming off countless horses that had fought to the death, spending a thought to spear the poor souls, then returning her thoughts to The mare, she would not move until she did, for she just got here, and the party hadn’t started yet.
