Loyalty
Marian is a fiercely loyal person. She is loyal to England, the people of England, and her family, as well as Robin Hood. Even if her loyalty will cost her her home and everything and everyone she loves, Marian will not give up what she believes in.
Opinionated
And Marian is very set in her ways. She has very strong opinions and is not afraid to voice them, even to Guy or the Sheriff or Robin Hood. Marian may sometimes be wrong in what she believes in, but her judgments and opinions come from a need to do what is right and just. Marian will admit when she is wrong, but it sometimes takes awhile before she realizes it. She has her set of morals and believes that everyone should be moral as well. She abhors injustice. She often has terrible judgment and is often very stubborn about it, but usually Robin is there to set her straight and get her out of tight situations.
The Love Triangle
Marian is in love with Robin, even with all his flaws and little annoyances. She has always loved him, even after he came back from the Holy Land and she claimed she had no feelings. She has been hurt by Robin and this had made her cold and reserved for sometime, but she slowly warmed back up to her girlish happiness as her interactions with Robin continued.
Though Marian loves Robin deeply and would do anything to protect him and help him, there is a sort of attraction to Guy. She may hate him for what he did to her home and her father, but she sees a spark of redemption in him, not to mention she has seen him shirtless. Perhaps Marian fools herself into thinking she is only using him to help Robin, but a part of her enjoys flirting with Guy and using her feminine wiles to wrap him around her finger. Even though the thought of marrying him does repulse her, she has no problem kissing him and allowing him to caress her.
