Build:

Dress Style:
Being the local seamstress in Knighton Kate likes to experiment with what she wears. Much to her fathers disapproval most of the time, not that that seems to really stop her. She’s managed to embarrass herself in the past by wearing a dress a little too low cut, but it’s all a compliment right? Kate wears mainly neutral colours and doesn’t really favour any particular colour. Only thing she wants in life is a good pair of boots!
Specifics:
Kate prides herself in not standing out too much in the crowd. More so these days than before, but when you’re hanging about with Outlaws you don’t really want people to pay attention to you. If anybody notices anything about Kate it would generally be when she’s angered her father that little too much and she’s sporting a new purple bruise. That or the fact that she doesn’t tend to wear ordinary clothing, considering she works with clothes and fiddles about with them all day.
Psychic
Sexual Orientation:
Hetreosexual
Self Image:
Kate likes who she is, she knows she has confidence, and is very strong willed. She acts on what she believes in and she knows that sometimes she can take it too far. Her father makes sure she remembers that. She over steps the mark and pushes the boundries. Hell she’s had outlaws at her house, she tended to a sprained ankle and knocked out a guard to protect them.
Kate likes the person she is becoming more and more. Although her nice quiet village life is something she isn’t wholly desperate to let go of, she likes the idea of adventure and wondering round a forest for hours on end. It makes her want to leave what she has and see that little bit more of the world.
To the Outward Eye:
Her father for one sees Kate as weak and idiotic. Which is something she hopes others do not see her as. She feels like she gives off a confident air, like she can handle most situations as she does. Hopefully seen as an independent and dependable individual, Kate doesn’t want people to think she can not fend for herself.
Social Status:
Most people know who Kate is. They all come to her for clothes or anything remotely related to what she does. Kate knows most people in her village by name and could probably name a few outsiders as well.
She rubs shoulders with the outlaws, having known the Scarlett’s since a young age and making a quick friend in Allan A Dale on meeting.

History:
Knighton is the only place Kate has ever known. She grew up there and her family never moved away. She did however grow up playing in Locksley with her childhood friends, the Scarlett’s. She spent many a happy afternoon getting muddy knees playing with Will and Luke and her own brother. Living a childhood under the Old Sheriff, Kate remembers when life used to be easier. But at the age of thirteen when the new Sheriff took control, she saw things go from bad to worse.
Upon his arrival she was forced to help her mother with her seamstress business in order to keep the money coming in, and very rarely saw her friends anymore. Two years later, when he brother was sixteen he left to fight in the Holy War, she has only seen him once since then and longs for him to come home.
Whilst her brother has been away Kate’s life has changed. She went from being the meek village girl would played in the mud to the unmarried Miller’s Daughter who should be in desperate search of a husband. Instead of a suitable bachelor though, Kate found herself an Outlaw. One afternoon on the return of Luke Scarlett, Allan A Dale fell down a hole, spraining his ankle and rendering him helpless when it came to helping the older Scarlett out of the castle.
A Dale spent the night in the Miller household, much to the dislike of her father, and she certainly found out about how disappointed in her he was the next morning. Over the next months though, Kate and Allan met each other more and more, and now they’re close. Close enough that if Allan hadn’t be an outlaw or a secret, her father would certainly be trying to marry her off to him rather than Arnold the blacksmith.
None of the outlaws or Kate’s family know about their meetings and both of them are keen to keep it that way. Not everybody is about to agree to their friendship – let alone what else their relationship had become…

- Strong Willed – Probably getting her into more trouble than it’s worth. But if she believes in something, she won’t give in.
- Protective – She is highly protective of her younger sisters and they are the only reason she won’t leave her house and to get away from her father – she doesn’t want him to start on them instead.

- Helping her mother – or rather running her mother’s business like Kate does.
- The Well – it’s peaceful and her place to escape.
- Her siblings – she looks after her younger sister and is looked after by her brother when he’s around. She loves having them around.
- Designing things – IT gives her something constructive to do.
Dislikes:
- Her father – who would like an abusive git as a father?
- The Sheriff – sucking them dry from money and life?
- Whiny people – everybody has it bad, she doest need to know that they only have a peeiece of bread to eat, chances are they all have just that or less.
- Dirt – Which would be why she tries to clean Allan of the mud on his face every time she sees him…
- Gisborne – She doesn’t like going to Locksley anymore with him there, he’s too much of an imposing figure to trust.
