Marian and Robin weaved their way through the trees that surrounded Knighton, finally choosing a spot behind some undergrowth and afew lush bushes that over looked the open part of the village square, getting as far as they could, they crouched down and searched, their eyes squinting in the sun, Marian pointed out the Sheriff, who was laughing at an elderly woman who had fallen over, and Guy who was having a conversation with a near-by guard. Marian blew her hair from her eyes and pushed it behind her ears, waiting- again. But it was better than sitting at camp waiting for news, and it was quite clear that wherever Will, Allan and Djaq were they had not been caught... yet.

He crouched down, keeping his bow in his hand ready for action at any moment. He could se the missing members of his gang talking to two others. One he did not recongnise the other looked suspiciously like Young Luke Scarlett. But quite why he would be back he did not know.
"Who is that they're with?" he asked leaning towards Marian as he did. he needed to know she was there and if he wasn' looking at her, feeling her arm pressed against his would be good enouh for him.

Marian shifted her weight to get a better look, "Looks the double of Will to me!" She replied half confused but surprise wafted over her at the recognition of the the second person, "That girl appears to be the one who made me these clothes, the Millers daughter... but what are they doing talking to her?" Great, another two to worry about. And with the Sheriff not far away, she was worried they might draw attention to themselves somehow, the more of them there were, the more chance of them getting spotted. " I dont like this." She said, leaning into Robin's shoulder, "I dont like this at all..."

"It's his brother, I'm pretty certain," Robin mumbled, getting a better position in the bush that he had. "If the Miller's daughter made your clothes made they went and got theirs. Or knew that's where you would be and asked her where you'd gone."
He squinted and his attention was drawn to the Sheriff, mocking the villagers along with Guy. If he found out any of them were here, he'd be out for their blood. And then he'd punish the villagers for 'hiding' them. So it made little sense for the Miller's daughter to be speaking to them she shouldn't have dangered herself.

"Will's brother?" Marian repeated "But I said I'd organise a pick up later, because we were worried about the Sheriff turning up..." She sighed in dispair, what was going on? And why was no one concerned about being seen? Too many questions, Marian she told herself ...worrying over nothing wont get you any where. She stared over to the church, a sudden hope that there was no guard in the tower, she couldn't make anyone out but she felt her eyes skim to the graveyard. She tried to pull her eyes away but truth was she was ashamed that she couldn't even pick out her father's grave. She'd not been in a while, she wasn't even sure if she could remember where it was. What would he think of her now, eh? Would he be hurt that she had not come to visit in so long? She sincerley hoped not- he had never been far from her mind, but still it was a horrile thought that the Sheriff and Gisborne were using her father even when he was dead. How dare they? Just let him rest... Stop it she told herself before the tears came Concentrate

As Marian moved off, Robin rolled his eyes and hissed out her name. Grabbing his bow and taking silent steps towards her staying close to the building keeping an eye out for guards at wall moments.
"Marian!" he uttered again catching her arm, "Don't run off okay, we need to keep close, can't be having you captured okay? Ther's no telling what he would do to you!"
He saw the graveyard then, he didn't even recall where abouts her fathers grave was, he saw her eyes flitter over it and blinking back tears. He reached out a hand for hers and encased it, running his thumb of the back of it, in an attempt of being comforting.

Marian appriciated the comfort he was giving her, it still surprised her, even now, that just by something as simple as Robin holding her hand could give her so much confidence and relief, but suddenly her eyes darted "Oh no..." she said watching the scene unfolding below. She drew her sword, letting go of Robin's hand "Will doesn't stand a chance against Gisborne and all those guards! It's time for action now I think" Her voice shaking slightly in angst. "We need to move, now!"

"What is he doing!" Robin near yelled. Resisting the urge to jump.
"Marian, no!" He pulled her back around to him with quite some force, "We move now, we all get killed! He's saving the others, and he'll be fine, he can cope. Plus, I don't think they'll kill him, not quite yet."
He rubbed his forehead and looked at the events unfolding before him keeping a tight grip on Marian's arm. "We go now, we die. Cause they won't be as lenient with us as they are with him. Gisborne would kill me on site, and most likely you too. So you need to stay here, you need to stay hidden"

Marian glared at him. Her stubborness getting the better of her and her need to help. "Robin- Gisborne wouldn't touch me, not without talking to me first, I could speak to him- distract him, giving you enough time to get everyone out." She could tell this was a long shot but it was one worth taking, if Gisborne was expecting them it would be at the hanging, not now, surely, and she knew Gisborne, she knew she could at least try. " Trust me." she said, before shaking him off her.

"Marian - no." that was final as far as she was concerned. "Last time I used you to get to him, I lost you. An I very well nearly lost you for good! He didn't know you were with me then! Now he does, adn he'll run you through without a throught because you're in the forest with me. He'll use you. You're my weakness, and if he kills you Marian he knows there will be nothing I wouldn't do in revenge for it! He saw it last year when I thought he'd killed you. He'll see that again if he does it now. You are NOT going. ANYWHERE!"
That was it. It was final. If she left now, she would be run right through. "We can't help here, we'll endanger the peasants the others. Will can take care of himself. He knows what he's doing!"

Marian couldn't believe her ears, she wasn't going to be dictated to. Not by anyone anymore, she had a plan and she was going to follow it through. She would make it work. Ripping off her cloak she through it to the ground, reaching for her sword she started down the hill "I can't just stand here Robin, I'm either with you or I'm not!"

Robin saw a rope hanging from on of the stable doors, and in that split second made his decisions. "Then I'm sorry..." He grabbed her around the middle from behind and carted her over to the stable, hand over her mouth. Quickly throwing the rope around her and tying her.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not losing you again!"

Marian was strong, she had imagioned plenty of times how she could beat Robin in a fight anyway, but it all happened so quick, she kicked and screamed but to no avail, the rope was bound and as much as she pulled and writhed there was no getting free, she screamed after him, demanding her freedom, but no reply came. She felt so helpless because she couldn't get there- she couldn't help and she could feel herself drowing more and more frustrated as the seconds went on, anger boiling over, and she kicked the cart she was tied to, it hurt and this just made her even more furious. oh the next time she saw that man, he was in for it!

Luke crossed the square, staying close to the buildings in case any of the guards had remained to watch for trouble. The clearing had emptied pretty quickly when Guy spread out his guards to surround Will and Luke didn't want to stand out by being the only person in the deserted square.
He entered the stable a little nervously, he'd barely spoken to Lady Marian before and honestly he was a little in awe of her. He also suspected she wouldn't be in a very good mood if Robin had tied her up against her will. Glancing around he saw her tied to one of the posts that supported the stable roof.
"Lady Marian?" He said quietly. She had her head bent, resting on her knees so she probably hadn't seen him approach and he didn't want to startle her. "Robin sent me to get you."

Marian's head bolted up right, her eyes wide, "Luke?" she said, looking at the boy in front of her it was obvious who he was- and who he as related to, getting to her feet she demanded, "What's happened? Where's Robin?" She held out the rope that bound her hands around the wrists, unsure if she was asking these questions in anger or worry. She hoped and prayed nothing had happened to Robin, and awaiting Luke's reponse seemed to take forever, he's such a fool Marian thought in dispair, if only he'd let me help! She shook her wrists at the boy who seemed to sense the complex emotions she was experiencing, and was obviously unsure how to approach her.
