Kate chuckled as the boy openly mocked his brother. Much like he always had done. "That he will never do. Though, rumour has it he's been getting close to the Saracen woman. Maybe he'll finally build something up," she didn't know if on his last visit he had seen it. The looks and whatever else those old washer women discussed. Kate only caught the loose threads of conversations as she picked up the fabrics freshly washed.
Peering out of the window, The Sheriff didn't actually seem to be doing anything but talking to his man. Which was bizarre. Normally he tried to arrest a load of people. Or at worst, cut off a few hadns or out a few tongues. The man was pure evil, and didn't deserve any happy, not that he wanted it.
"You'd be lucky to find Will today. With the Sheriff in the village, and the time, you may as well take shelter here. I'll talk father round."

"The Saracen woman?" Luke was confused for a moment then he remembered. He'd only met her once and he'd been a little distracted at the time. "The one with the boy's name? Jack..." He asked, mispronouncing her name completely. He smirked, if the rumours were true this was a wonderful opportunity for more teasing.
"Does he come into Knighton often?" Luke inquired wondering if he should take her up on the offer in spite of the awkward situation with her father. If he could be sure that Will would visit relatively soon then he could avoid the arduous task of trekking through the forest until he found the camp or was caught in one of the gang's traps.

"Not in recent weeks, but if rumour are true, they have not been in England. He normally does the Knighton drop off." she reeled off at top speed. If she told Luke too much, there would be much to be imagine, or told to him by his brother. She regretted telling him the rumours of the Saracen woman, he was sure to use it against his brother. Never the less, she had done it now.
"Somebody's got to pick these items up, so he may be around to do that," she mentioned shoving the cloth to one side. It wa a project she needed to finish and quickly, but Luke was here, she was sure Will would understand if he was to wait a few more hours for his new shirt.

Allan was surprised. Maybe they hadn't been going the wrong way after all, because surely they hadn't just... magically appeared on Knighton's doorstep? He wasn't going to question it, though; by this point he just wanted to sit down, maybe have a drink or something. He was sweating with the exertion, and he was sure that Will was worse off - carrying his weight and being sweated on when he was already in enough of a mess.
"Just realised a slight flaw in this plan, mate," he piped up as it occured to him. "Where are we going here?"
He looked at the looming houses and the bustling crowds of peasants, and wondered if this was such a good idea after all. It wasn't like they were inconspicuous...

Rolling his eyes he walked over to set of hay bails that were neatly stacked in in to blocks and carefully sat Allan down. "We're not going anywhere, your staying here and getting off you foot" the brunette outlaw said with a nod before looking around Knighton a little "I'm...gonna look for Djaq and Marian". Which at the moment was starting to look like two needles in a very large hay stack.
Knighton was packed with people so it was doubtful he would be able to find both women. Sighing he scratched the back of his head "Or not" he said before taking a seat beside Allan. Being careful not to hit his foot that he raised on to his hay bail.

"Then I may stay for a while, if it's not too much trouble." He said, glancing nervously at the cloth concealing the room where Kate's father worked. "I have no money to pay for my room." He admitted sheepishly. "I had to give up the savings I had with me to resolve an incident involving a crate of apples... You might have seen."
Luke shifted, not sure what he should do now that he'd finished eating the bread. He was still hungry, but it would be rude to ask for anything more. Kate was already being more hospitable than he deserved.

Allan looked a little put out. "Alright, alright, I'll be a good boy and sit down..." he grumbled, childishly sticking his tongue out at the younger man when he turned his back. He watched as Will walked to look round, and scratch his head, faintly hearing his next comment.
"Or not..."
Allan couldn't help it. He laughed loudly at that. For some reason, it was just hilarious. He shifted his position a little bit, trying to get comfy.
"We settling down for the night then, eh?" he asked, folding his arms behind his head and looking up at the slightly cloudy sky.

Kate laughed at her friend, she'd seen all right. Before she'd call out she'd seen him trip into a load of different people. She hadn't remember as that clumsy, maybe as he'd grown into his body he'd grown more clumsy, not less like most people. "I saw,"
Kate looked out of the window again, checking on the Sheriff's position, when something new catch her eye across the common. Two people sat in the grass, one looked unbelievably like William Scarlett.
"What would you say if I told you that you wouldn't have to wait long for your brother to appear?" she said gesturing out of the window in the direction of the two outlaws. She hadn't seen the other for a while, not with Robin anyway. She'd seen him with Gisborne, so that rumour was true.

"It all depends if I find Djaq and Marian before night fall" Will said with a tiny shrug. "If I don't then we will have to walk back to camp" which Will knew was probably bad for Allan's ankle but they couldn't stay in Knighton out in the open for much longer.
Will had forgotten to bring their cloaks. So in a sense they were seating ducks if Gisborne showed up in Knighton. After the Holy Land both the Sheriff and Gisborne probably weren't in the best of moods towards Robin and the gang.

Luke looked up hopefully, he dashed to the window, and in his haste practically elbowed Kate out of the way. Squinting slightly, because even on the dullest of days in England it was a lot brighter outside than it was inside, he looked around for his brother. Will Scarlett wasn't hard to spot, not to Luke anyway and the younger boy's face broke into a huge grin.
"You don't mind if I go invite him in do you?" He asked of Kate, reaching for the door before she had the chance to reply. He was only really asking as a formality, wild horses couldn't keep him from his brother now.
"Will!" Luke shouted, forgetting their need for secrecy and striding out towards the hay bales. "Still got that mousy moustache I see." He teased, his voice still raised as he was a fair distance away.

Allan shifted a bit, uncomfortable by that thought. If push came to shove, he'd rip up his shirt and try to bind his ankle before he did that. He was also a bit uncomfortable about sitting in the open so obviously, but there was nothing that could be done about that.
As he was about to reply, a voice broke his train of thought by blowing their already fragile cover, if anyone had been paying attention anyway.
"Will!" Allan whipped his head round in the direction of the voice, seeing a tall teenager striding towards them, smile splitting his face and looking like he'd just found a windfall of gold. He was confused. Ok, sure, it was possible Will knew some of the villagers of Knighton but surely the idiot would have known that they were outlaws, and the general rule in a village was that if any kind of commotion was caused, any, and so they would draw attention and... wham! Say hello to the Nottingham cells.
Which he really didn't want to be visiting any time soon.
Fortunately, no one seemed to have heard him (somehow, and Allan gave a quick thanks to God for that small miracle; that kid had LUNGS on him) and as he came running up, teasing Will about his moustache, he chuckled.
"Kid's got a point, mate. It's a bit... weedy..."
Allan made a move to stand up. He didn't feel comfortable staying sat down when strangers approached him... Or showing weakness when pretty women were coming to greet them either. A lovely blonde girl was chasing the lad, and quickly Allan found himself sizing her up. He hoped she wasn't like the other girls he'd tried to chat up in Knighton; all the others (see: three, he'd given up after a while) either knew he was with Robin and so kept asking after Robin or Will (and he'd never told them that, nor did he intend to) or been too shy to even talk to him. Honestly, women!

Kate went to reply but he was already gone. Her strides were minuscule compared to his, she had to run to keep up, let alone catch up. Running too fast would draw attention to her, and she didn't want that with the Sheriff in the village. Luke you idiot! she shouted in her mind, her breath catching in her throat as she approached the three men. She couldn't even manage a laugh at Will with Luke's pathetic attempt at humour.
"Will," she acknowledged between deep breathes, and a small smile at the stranger. She stood fully now and pelted Luke on the arm. "Don't you ever do that again!" she shouted at him. "That was by far the most idiotic thing in the world! He's an outlaw!" she said hissing the last part at him so not to draw too much attention to them.
She rolled her eyes at the boys stupidity. Before turning her attention back to her old friend and his new one. He wasn't the tallest of people. Nor was he short. And he wore the worlds cheekiest smile. He seemed to look her up and down so she returned the favour. "Kate.
(OOC: Bed time! Alsa gone so night"!)

Hearing his name being called made him a look around a little before spotting a face he knew far to well. His face broke in to a smile before jumping off of the hay bale he was sitting and catching up to Luke half way. Pulling his younger sibling to tight hug he couldn't help but smile. The last time he had seen Luke was after their father had died and he went back to Scarborough.
Pulling out of the hug he gave him a quick once over before lifting his eyes to catch his "I thought you were staying in Scarborough?". He was more safer there then he was in Nottingham they had already lost their parents because of the Sheriff. Will wouldn't stand back and let the Sheriff use Luke against him.

Luke hugged Will back, smirking as Allan, because he now realised that the man Will had been sitting with was indeed the other outlaw, agreed with him about Will's moustache. He opened his mouth to say something else but Kate caught up looking more than a little cross. He took the blow to his arm still grinning like a maniac.
"No one heard us did they." He said smugly, unable to feel guilty as he was still excited about seeing his brother. He knew he'd been careless, but there was surely more than one Will in Nottingham and the noise from square should have been enough to drown him out from even the most keen eared guards. Besides it was his brother's own fault for parading about in the open.
"I thought you were staying in Scarborough?" Will asked him and Luke shrugged.
"I was, but now I'm back." Luke paused, his brother was looking rather serious, he was always thinking too much and he was probably already plotting a way to try and send him back to Scarborough. "For good. I'm not going back." He didn't care if he sounded like a spoilt child, he didn't want to be practically banished again. He did have the sense to keep his plans to join the outlaws to himself for now, he didn't think Will's protective streak could take the strain of his little brother being on the wrong side of the law.
Now that he was up close he could see that both Allan and Will were looking rather the worse for wear. "What happened to you two?" He asked curiously. "Did you fall down a hole or something?

Giving Kate a tiny smile he turned his attention back to Luke "You know that its not safe for you here Luke. That's why I told you to stay in Scarborough with Auntie Annie". One thing Will hated was fact that Luke was as stubborn as a mule. Something that all the Scarlett blood line had from what Will could notice. "Does Auntie Annie know that you left to come back to Nottingham?" he said as sternly as he could.
Just the thought of Luke dying because of the Sheriff was enough for Will to turn in to what he had after Dan was killed. When Luke said Did you fall down a hole or something? Will couldn't help but let a tiny smile form. "Umm, no we had some company in Sherwood" he said scratching his head and looking over at Allan.
