About your Character
Name: Andrew Farmer
Nickname: Drew
Age: 20
Country: England
Position:(Outlaw, King's man, Sheriff's man, etc…) Peasant
Job: Farmer, farmer’s son.
Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Height: 5’ 11”
General Appearance:(Minimum of two paragraphs, please)
Drew is a great deal shorter than his father, and a lot more surefooted too. He takes long, measured strides with power and energy behind them, always sure of where he is going and for what purpose. He is rarely seen without a smile, or, rather, a smirk on his face, and his brown eyes twinkle with mischievous brightness.
He has dark hair, taking after his father, and is slightly shorter than the man, although still quite intimidating to many. He emits an aura of confidence, shown in his muscular build as he seems to do everything with ease and never tires. He is quite healthy and well built, from long days toiling on his family’s land. He has very dark hair, inherited from his father, cut shorter than many of his age group as he finds it gets in his way.

Personality:(Minimum of two paragraphs, please)
Drew is quite flighty and fanciful; he spends his time wondering what could be, compared to his father’s what is. He prides himself on having collected a large amount of useless, but interesting, information from travellers and tradesmen, and uses it to try and impress the women. Of course, most of the people in his village are clued up on this, so he only really tries it outside of Knighton. He does, however, have some morals many other men of his generation don’t - he won’t sleep with a woman unless he intends to marry/is married to her.
He’s very athletic and competitive, and is a very good brawler, although hand him a weapon and he’s all thumbs. He could probably use a rake to ward off any attackers, but that’s about as far as his weaponry skills go. Then again, what need does he have of such skills? His family are rarely troubled by nobility or outlaws and they only walk safe roads, so he’s not had to fight anyone save his siblings and other lads in the village. He loves nothing more than to compete with others,; he doesn’t care if they’re male, female, crippled or healthy - if he has a chance to show he’s better than them, he’ll try. This may seem quite arrogant, but really it isn‘t; he’s trying to get himself noticed by a rich merchant or perhaps even the Sheriff, in hopes of being given a well paid job and the ability to look after his family alongside his father (as it is, he doesn’t bring extra income to the household but merely makes things easier for them).
He is quite a hothead, especially when it comes to his family, so be warned if you insult them or dare to lay a finger on one hair from their heads; he’ll be after your blood. It is usually with his family that he’s nicest and he is a slave to his two sisters, even going so far once as to let them try and braid his hair - it was a disaster. Other people just think he’s an arsehole, for the most part.
Family:
O Amelia Farmer (mother, deceased)
O Georgina Farmer (stepmother, 32)
O Andrew Farmer (father, 38) ß got it right this time…
O Liam Farmer (brother, 19)
O Craig Farmer (half-brother, 15)
O Patrick Farmer (half-brother, 11)
O Amy Farmer (half-sister, 8)
O Mary Farmer (half-sister, 2).
Background:(Minimum of two paragraphs, please)
Drew was born to Andrew Farmer and his wife, Amelia, but he doesn’t really remember his mother as she died when he was only one, giving birth to his brother Liam. He was quite a sickly child, and barely survived a case of whooping cough, but after this disease he seemed to gain a much better health and became one of the most active and bright children in the village. He was always running round, Liam in tow, lifting up skirts and pulling pigtails, and generally causing havoc as little boys are wont to do.
He wasn’t keen, at first, when his father married his step mother Georgina when Drew was only four, but he soon got used to the caring attention and realised what he had missed by not having a mother, and was thrilled to be presented with a new baby brother, Craig, a year after the couple had been wed. He had been very close to his grandmother and was saddened when she died, and it was this that made him determined to care for his family as his father did by being the best at everything. He then spent the rest of his life trying to better himself, also believing that copying the nobles may land him with a wife as good as his stepmother was to his father. This plan has thus far backfired, as the young man is 20 and still very much single (he’s had flings, but nothing major). At the current moment, he’s desperately trying to get a job elsewhere, preferably as one of Gisborne’s guards, as the job is quite well paid and he believes it will make a difference to his family’s life.
Anything else: Not really.

RP Sample: at least two good paragraphes
Drew winced and pulled the covers up over his head as the sun pierced through the window and straight into his head, his hangover making him feel even worse. Patrick, in retaliation, rolled over and pulled the entire blanket off his older brother, snuggling down in it and going to sleep. Drew half-heartedly glared at the younger boy, but decided it wasn’t worth the effort of getting his share of the blanket back. It wasn’t like it was cold or anything.
He laid a hand across his face to blot out the bright light a little, and gave a deep sigh. What had happened last night? He remembered going to the Trip Inn over in Nottingham Town, in the hopes of perhaps catching the Lord Gisborne there to ask him if he could work for the man, and had downed a pint of golden ale to calm his nerves. And then another, and another, and he vaguely recalled a pretty tavern wench in a faded pink dress sitting on his lap at one point… He shook his head. No, it was no good, he couldn’t remember the details - he just had to hope that he hadn’t done anything stupid, and that his father hadn’t seen him come back. He was annoyed that his father still treated him like a child, but he supposed the old man couldn’t be blamed for it; if Drew was still living at home, he had to obey Andrew’s rules, whether he liked them or not, and as his father said - ”If you can’t behave like an adult, then I’ll treat you like a child!”
