Ivanhoe eyed the trees warily looking for any signs of movement. There was none and he breathed a sigh of relief. Of course he was expecting movemnet but he did not want it to come unexpected which it most likely would. He had to be cautious even he was in danger here no matter his reason for coming.
Some would say he was over cautious, that his caution made him distant. Ivanhoe disagreed, you could never be over cautious especially in these times and in these woods. He moved his horse along quietly trying not to make a sound so he could hear if there was any movement. Ivanhoe had heard tales of this Robin Hood from several of the people he had meet. Some said good thigns others said bad.
Still all the tales agreed that he did give back to the poor. That was a good thing in his book, a man like that could be trusted. Still Ivanheo had to be careful even if he was a good swordsman he was no match for a bow. Especially in his current garb. To them he would probablky seem a normal woodsman, but he doubted it. No woodsman could afford the horse he had, nor the sword on his belt and the other things he had on him. One thing was for sure about these times. They were never easy.
