"Fall in the stream, me? Nah, I had my bath last month," he replied, grinning up at his mate. He nearly swatted Luke as he yawned and then complained about their nannying of him, but resisted. Then he really would be acting like the kid's parents.
"Yeah, well, so long as I'm not the mum, alright?" Allan grinned, poking Luke in the arm. He was a good kid, cared about his big brother a lot; it was... nice to see. Although he didn't appreciate the fact he was clearly as stubborn as his brother. A small part of him momentarily hoped he wasn't as smart, and he immediately chided himself for such a thing. Brains were needed in this day and age and woe betide the man who had none.
Allan felt a little sorry for Luke, and got up to fetch the brothers a drink of water each. Will probably needed one anyway. He was starting to feel it really was time to get Djaq up to see to Will. She was the medic, after all, and her word on whether or not Will was any better this morning would be appreciated. On the other hand, he wanted to ask Luke all about how they'd gotten Will out, but thought maybe it wasn't such a great idea.
He settled back down and fought the urge to start singing randomly. It had always annoyed Will to no end, which made it all the more tempting.

"Luke the only person good at lying is standing right beside you" Will said with faint smile on his face as he shifted his glance from Luke to Allan. "Allan's going to watch me so will you please go to sleep?" the brunette said with pleading eyes as he looked at the younger Scarlett sibling. Will didn't have to guess that Luke was tired. With what every that happened it probably drained him both physically and mentally.
Will made shooing motions with his good hand just to enforce that he wanted Luke to go to sleep. He himself was starting to feel a little tired. But he knew he had done enough sleeping for at least a little while. He didn't know how long he was out for but from seeing how Luke had reacted the first time he woke was enough to show him he had been asleep for awhile.

"I'm not a chicken! You can't just flap at me and make me go away." Luke grumbled as Will tried to shoo him away with his good hand. He wasn't going to be bullied into bed by anybody, he was 16 and more than old enough to decide when it was time to sleep. It was a testament to just how stubborn the Scarletts were that had the two outlaws not been trying so hard to get Luke to sleep he probably would have headed to bed all on his own. As it was the more they tried to send him away the more he wanted to stay and chat, even if it was at the expense of his preciously needed sleep.
"I thought you'd be pleased to see me Will, not trying to get me away all the time." He added, playing the guilt card and turning a reproachful look on his older brother. "How do I know I won't wake up in Scarborough because you and Allan have come up with some hair brained scheme to shove me on a cart?" Luke grinned a little at the thought, it was a stupid idea, but he was exhausted and therefore long past making sense.
Luke stifled another yawn, his jaw trembling with the effort of keeping it clamped shut. "Can't we just catch up for a while longer?" He looked at Allan, appealing to the thief too. Hopefully the man would back him up instead of Will, that way they could corner the older Scarlett boy instead of him being the one poked in the direction of a good night's sleep. It was unlikely considering Allan and Will were good friends, but right now anything was worth a try.

(OOC: OMG SQUEE! You know they only want rid of him for wild rampant smex... *didn't say that, honest*)
Allan couldn't help but laugh, possibly a bit too loudly, as Luke described himself as a chicken. Immediately, his thoughts ran rampant with the notion of sticking feathers to his head while he was asleep. If he could just get his hands on some tar and some feathers... He shrugged and grinned, still chuckling a bit. ”Careful what you say about chickens. If Much hears that you're anything like one, he might try and cook you!” He put his hand on his chin and looked thoughtful. ”Wonder if Scarlett's taste better than squirrel...”
He leaned over and grabbed Will's (still flapping) hand, and pretended to nibble it. He held it away from him, chewed air, and then wrinkled his nose. ”Bah, taste like bloody squirrel, you do.”
Allan felt a little affronted by Luke's next comment. ”I'll have you know my schemes aren't hare-brained. They're bloody brilliant – I deserve at least a fox brained comment for my ideas. And we wouldn't shove you on a cart, we'd tie you up in a barrel and then shove you on a cart.”
Hm, possibly not his smartest comment. He hoped the kid wasn't overly paranoid.
"Can't we just catch up for a while longer?"
Oh no, he was not/i] pulling that damn face Will did when he wanted something. Nuh uh. Nope, it wasn't going to work. His time away from the gang had made him immune to Scarlett expressions of all kinds, so there was no way he was going to back Luke in this case. Besides, he'd known Will for longer and no stop looking at the bloody kid's face you're not going to-
”He hasn't seen you in a while, mate,” Allan sighed, rubbing the back of his head while some part of his brain headbutted a mental tree for being such a bloody wimp. ”Besides, now you can tell me all about your daring escape from the bowels of Nottingham Castle.”
Bloody Scarletts and their bloody faces...
