Night held the Greensleeves camp as Gina looked out to the sky. The poor weather from the day had left the ground soggy and the sky moonless. The clouds loomed overhead as she sighed from where she lay. She'd found a rock to perch upon that night, not wanting to sleep in the mud for once. They guys had all gone into the villages and towns to spend their loot on women no doubt. Or, like Tristan, they'd probably gone to woo a specific lady friend. That was the one downside of living and being accepted (for the most part) among men - Gina was one of the guys.
For quite some time when she was younger, new members did think her to be a boy. Though that stopped when she got into her teen years - or after she'd put a knife to their throat, that one worked well. And was a firm favourite, Gina loved to make people squirm - especially when it was someone who thought themselves to be better than her, purely down to their gender. "Men..." She muttered quietly to herself.
She shifted, removing a small rock from beneath her. The one downside to sleeping out of the mud was having rocks work their way into your bedding. But she wasn't about to complain because one, there was no one to complain to; and two when they did return, they'd only tell her to move if she didn't like the spot, so one of them could have it. Selfish lot she lived with; but it was all she knew and it loved it.
And them. Well, not so much them. More one of them. She sighed again, thinking of her plight in love. Sometimes she didn't know why she bothered. He wasn't very nice, not even to her. Well, she wasn't particularly nice to him; but she was some of the time. Rarely, but still!
A snapping of a twig brought her out of her thoughts. In an instant, she had pulled a small dagger from about her person and held it out defensively. She looked around, her body tense and alert - ready to fight if needs be. Slowly crawling off her perch, Regina scanned the area to try and spot the new comer. She hated being left alone, for this very reason. If said newcomer was stronger than her, and not so friendly, who knows what mess she'd end up in!
Another snap and someone entered the camp. Gina was on him in a flash, putting a her knife to his throat. She'd moved quick to gain the upper hand, not really wanting to get into a sticky situation. The action made her feel powerful, holding someone slightly captive. There was always the chance she'd get thrown out of the deadly embrace, but the feeling was good while it lasted. She finally set her eyes on her prey. "Gavin! What the Hell are you doing creeping up on the camp like that?!"
(ooc - eep, realised that might a be a little Godmoddy. Sorry Alsa! Poke if you want me to change it XD)

Gavin had, indeed, gone down to one of the nearer villages to get drunk, but had decided to save his coin rather than see if anyone fancied a quick tumble in the hay. He was fairly sure there was something just as good (and free) around.
Successful in his endeavour to make his eyes unable to focus properly thanks to several large tankards of ale and other, less favourable drink, he'd forgotten one of the things that kept him alive - the ability to keep quiet and on guard. As such, he was a little startled when he found himself dragged almost off his feet, leaning backwards with a knife to his throat.
It was probably bad he took a few moments to comprehend the fact that he did have a knife against his throat, actually.
Hearing Apple's voice in his ear, he blinked, momentarily confused. What was going on? She wasn't asleep yet? Wait... why was she holding a knife to his throat anyway?
"I weren't exactly being quiet," he snarled half heartedly, pulling himself away from Regina with little effort and nearly falling forwards in the process. He shook his head to try and clear his thoughts a bit, but the alcohol was being stubborn and washing it all up into a murky, incomprehensible mess. He made a show of rubbing his neck. "What kind 'a welcome is that, eh? Coulda had summat to eat ready for me, not a split throat. Bloke'd get the idea you didn't want him around."

Gavin stank of ale. Gina hated it; purely because she wasn't stinking of ale herself. Stinking of ale meant that she too would be drunk enough to not be on guard. It possibly wasn't the best state to be in for an outlaw like her (and she'd moan about it in the morning); but it was always worth it. The world was less complicated when you were drunk as all you had to focus on was not falling arse over tit into the mud. But everything was so much funnier when you were drunk, so even a nice trip face first into the mud wouldn't trigger an adverse reaction.
She smirked at Gavin's confusion. At least she'd get some fun out her sober state laughing at him. "I weren't exactly being quiet." He said as she took the knife away from his throat; feeling a slight twirl in her stomach from being so close to him. Yes the prat man that she unfortunately loved. "No, you were being louder than a panicked horse. But that was still as close as to sneeking as you can get in your state." She doubted he got head nor tail of that; she had a habit of speaking as quickly as her adreniline pulsed sometimes; and it was roaring away at rocket speed - whatever rockets were.
"It was a welcome you deserved." She said in a huff, pocketing her knife and folding her arms in one swift movement. She gave him a dark look. "I am not here to cook for you lazy gits. And you might be of more use with your throat slit." She looked away, of course she wanted him there - but not so she could cook for him and play the happy servant. She was his equal God damnit! She'd been there for far longer than he as well. If anything she should be demanding dinner from him, not the other way round. Lord knows it would taste better, Gina could not cook to save her life. "Well, a Gal'd get the idea you only wanted her round for her cooking."

It was Gina's own fault that she hadn't come drinking, and Gavin hoped she wasn't about to start complaining about it. If she wanted to drink, she should come and drink - she was big and ugly enough to look after herself, at the end of the day (even if he didn't really like to acknowledge it).
Gavin shrugged as Regina released him from her grasp, partly to pass off her comment and partly because now he was cold. Bloody women and being bloody warm. He huffed a little. "Better than you can do when you're sober and everyone's deaf," he retorted, the best he could come up with at this hour.
"I'm sure you'd like to explain that one to the lads," he remarked, rubbing his neck for show. "One less mouth to feed, but two less hands to grab loot." Besides, some days it seemed like he was the only one willing to do the proper dirty work in order to get what they deserved, which irritated him. He had no time for dreamers, not when there was proper work to be done.
"Your cooking?" Gavin scoffed. "A plate of cold bread, maybe, but let's leave the actual cooking up to Hanton, yeah?" He knew what he had said, he was just pointing out that she could have done something useful, like that. "You need lessons from him, Apple. Be good for ya, might finally get you a bloke." Not that she'd retain said bloke for long, considering her position. She could have at least gotten some water or something, his mouth was as dry as he imagined Hell to be.
"Nah, we want you around for the scenery. Bloke could get ill, only having Forrest's ugly mug to look at every day."

Gina too felt the sudden lose of warmth as she stepped away from Gavin. But now wasn't the time to be pining after miniscule amounts of contact with the buggar. He was insulting her - as normal. She let a scowl fill her face, hopefully frightening him a little; though in his state and the lacking of light Gina wouldn't be surprised if he didn't notice a difference. "I beg to differ!" She couldn't be bothered with an intelligent remark, it would only be wasted on him, seen as how he was wasted.
As much as Regina hated to admit it, Gavin had a point. And he was one of the best - and more committed - of the whole group. Gina prided herself as one of the more cut throat outlaws that made people's knees shake. It was all she knew, she wasn't about to go soft. Yes, she enjoyed gossip from Tristan's get togethers with Alice and she still believed in love - but she was only human, what else was she supposed to do when faced with love? Recoil and turn away in horror? Was that what he did?
"Ok, point made. But you do eat a lot." She snapped, hopin to get him back for the eariler comment. "Anyone would think you were an overfed lord the way you eat sometimes." She scowled at him again; wanting so badly to step closer. She made a show of shivering and hugging herself for warmth; hoping all the while that Gavin'd get the picture she wanted him to wrap his arms round her, or something!
He went on to rag on her some more. Her cooking wasn't that bad! Well, it was, but still! "Just because I'm a woman, doesn't mean I should cook. Hanton's no woman is he? Unless he's been keeping it secret for, oo let's see, over twenty years. He's bloody good if he has." She grinned wickedly at him. But the grin snapped to a snarl. "I don't need to find myself a bloke!" She said, outraged, and finished in her mind, I've already found one. He just needs to open his eyes like the blind tosser he is!
"I'm scenery now?" She stood, hands on hips - forgetting the cold - and wore a look which dared to challenge Gavin's word. A quirky smirk grew at the corner of her lips and she too a step towards Gavin. "Is that a sort of backward compliment you just gave me there Gavin Bates?" Her voice dripped with tease and she stopped just before Gavin, looking up to him. She was taller than few of the outlaws - or anyone - round here.

"Whatever!" he replied, waving his hand to dismiss the entire conversation. It was inane anyway.
Gavin wouldn't admit it, but he rather admired Regina. More than her body, that was. He didn't often respect women - he tended to view them as weak, as objects to be used to his own ends, and in his defense a lot of the people in his day and age felt the same way - but, unlike the lady of Merton, or little Alice Brandon, he actually appreciated that she stood up to the men, that she held her own and proved she was good at what she did. She'd spent her life in the woods, she'd grown up around men, she wasn't about to be treated like a typical woman and let whoever it was get away with it.
Maybe it was the alcohol, but that made her even more attractive.
Gavin didn't recoil from love - he just didn't understand it. He always thought of what he felt for Apple as lust, because he'd never had anything to compare it to. A tumble in the hay with a village girl or one of the wenches in the taverns, but it wasn't the same. If someone asked him how he'd respond to the idea of love, he'd probably just shrug. If it came about, it came about. He'd deal with it then.
"I'm a growing lad," he replied tartly, walking round Regina and taking a look at what he could see of the camp by the moonlight. Not a lot. He'd have to try to start a fire. Try being the operative word. He might be a good thief, but he was pretty bad at most other things. He didn't see Regina shivering, but he wouldn't have hugged her or anything - at best, he'd have chucked his scarf at her and tell her to make do, just like everyone else. He was cold too, after all.
Gavin shrugged. "You've known him longer than me," he replied, realising that his shrug probably hadn't been seen. He started looking for some flint, the firewood was probably still good. He smirked as Apple rose to his bait. Oh, she was so easy sometimes. "You into birds, then?" he asked in jest. Though... He shook his head. She would actually kill him if he started thinking about that.
Apple walked up to him, and Gavin was stumped. Backward compliment? He'd thought he'd made it a pretty good compliment, actually, but if she wasn't going to take it properly... Well, he'd just have to be a little more forward about it. Grinning, he put his hands out and grabbed her breasts, and gave a firm squeeze. He didn't move his hands, either. He wanted to see what she would do.
Possibly not his smartest idea ever.
"Better compliment, Apple?" he asked sweetly.
(OMG I feel pervy *dies*)

She really did hate Gavin (as well as loving him). He was so dismissive of her. He probably couldnt handle the fact that she was his equal. That was her theory anyway. Or maybe he loved her back and he just didn't quite know how to deal with it. That one wasn't so much as a theory as a wish. She just hoped he didn't cast her in the same light as those other stupid women who believed they coud stand up to men - like that bratty Merton Lady.
Gina couldn't believe that the woman had the nerve to go up to Gavin. So he'd robbed her, surely she had the money to re-buy what he'd nabbed. That way everyone would be happy; she'd have a precious necklace and they'd have had more loot for food (and ale). And did she really think she was going to be sucessful? Regina had seen the lady of Merton, she was a scrawny twig no muscle to her at all. Gina, on the other hand, was rather proud of the muscles she'd got over the years of living in the forest.
"The only way you're growing is outwards." She replied, equally tartly. She also gave him a scowl - not even a scarf for her shiver! He hadn't even noticed. He was too busy investigating the camp situation. No fire and no food. Had she been able to, Gina would have lit a fire ages ago but the wood was wet and wouldn't catch. She may not be educated, but she wasn't dumb. "Don't even bother." She said as he eyed up the fire pit. "Damp wood."
She giggled a little to Gavin's retort. Another reason she hated him. She could be verging on mad with him, but he could still make her laugh without even trying! But the entertainment was short lived. Judging from the jest in his voice he'd been waiting for her to take the bait, like she always did. Oh well, why bother stopping now. "Escuse me! I was more going for the fact I was independant. Not that I was into birds." She gave him a dark look.
However, she did enjoy the blantant confusion on his face. Though what had caused it was anyone's guess. Was it her advance? Or was it because he didn't know what backwards meant? Or even compliment? She'd been so lost in her thoughts that she missed the warning grin. Next thing she knew was that she was being groped. She let out a shocked squeak and pushed his hands off her - which he wasn't making any effort of moving away.
She glared at him again in the half light, though inside her heart was reeling. This forward gesture probably meant nothing, but Regina could always hope. She took in his sickly sweet tone, trying to calm her pounding heart and regulate her breathing. When had that got so shallow? "Well, it wasn't as backwards. But a kiss would have been nicer." She said, finally getting herself under control. Though just the mere thought of kissing Gavin made her stomach twirl so violently that she feared her last meal might pop up and say hello.

Outwards? He was perfectly sized, thank you very much - if anything, he was probably underweight - apart from apples, which always seemed plentiful, it wasn't the easiest thing to get food in Nottingham anymore. Prices were high - high enough that even your average thief found it difficult to pay for with his riches, or to thieve. People were keeping a closer eye on their wares every day. They were cottoning on to the tricks of the trade.
Gits.
Gavin was stumped for a moment, and shrugged. Oh well, they'd just have to deal with being in the dark then. Perhaps it was time to think about getting a nice cave to stay in - certainly dryer, and they could probably hide the entrance if they found the right place. Of course, more chance of it caving in on them... Gavin preferred being alive, cold and wet.
"Well you give off that vibe sometimes. I mean, what self respecting bird hasn't got a bloke?" he asked, geniunely confused. She could at least make someone up, she was good at that sort of thing. She could pull those honest faces and make it seem like she was all sweet and innocent - sweet and innocent his arse.
He laughed heartily as Apple pushed his hands off her and stumbled back a few paces. Oh, that had so been worth it. He hadn't been expecting the squeak, but it was nice - sounded like a woman for a change, not one of the lads. He rolled his eyes - was she never satisfied? What did she want him to do, bare his chest, hand her a knife and ask her to drive it through his heart if she didn't love him in return? He wasn't the poetic sort - a grope was about as good as he got when it came to compliments.
He shifted forward again, eyebrows raised. His voice went a little sweeter, a little huskier. "That all you want? Why didn't you just say so?" he said, putting his hands on her hips and pulling her close. He would swear that she smelt like apples - except she hated them. Oh, well. Nice fantasy anyway.

Gina had been joking when she told Gavin he was growing outwards, no one in Nottingham grew outwards these days. Except those overfed, no good Lords. The mere thought of them did make Gina's blood boil; they were all so self important. Tristan wasn't as bad, but he still had it in him. But the worst of them all was Hood. Everyone must love Robin Hood, he's such a do-gooder. Kiss-ass more like. And he wasn't even a Lord anymore... Gina banished the thoughts of Hood from her mind. She did not want to hate anything other than Gavin at this moment in time.
And hate him, she did right now. She did not need a man. Never had she needed a man, and he knew that fact all too well. She was as good - if not better - as any of the other Greensleevesers. Just because she was a bird didn't mean she was weak. She was no 'lady'. The only male involvement for Gina would be because she wanted it, not because she needed it. And she did want Gavin. "This self respecting bird." She said defiantly.
He was toxic, she swore he was. But she was addicted. Addicted with no regrets. So he groped her every now and then, she was grateful for the contact. It stopped her going crazy from the constant want for him to touch her. Want, not need. She gave him a coy smile and let her face be filled with surprise as he practically man-handled her into a deadly embrace. She curled her arms round his neck, her body tingling with excitement. Never before had she been so close to Gavin for so long. "I prefer making you guess."

Gavin was very vocal when it came to the nobles of Nottingham, and to Robin Hood and his gang. And everyone knew that he hated them, because he vocalised it whenever he had the chance.
Bloody lords and their fancy houses, their pretty clothes and their excess of jealously hoarded money and riches.
Stupid Locksley, running to the forest when he had it all, masquerading as a hero of the poor when all he really wanted was further control of the shire - it was obvious, wasn't it? He didn't care if the poor went hungry or were better fed than the nobility, he just wanted them to support him so that when his campaign against Vaysey was done, he would have the backing of the local people and be installed as Sheriff himself. Even a five year old could see the cunning behind his plan, couldn't they? Apparently not, so many people bought into the idea that Robin actually cared, it was sickening.
And the others! John, especially, wound Gavin up. He'd been a proper criminal, a real man - knew what was what, knew what had to be done, and now he was taking orders from some ponce. He couldn't really blame the lanky one and Robin's little servant - they'd been bought years before, having lived in his village - but the Saracen woman and the man from Rochdale, they were fools. They should have seen through it all, but no, they fell for it too. Briefly, the Rochdale one saw the light, got out, but he soon got dragged back in again. Maybe Hood had a magic potion or something, perhaps he was devil spawn and could change the way people thought... However he was doing it, it made Gavin want to slap the idiots.
"Self respect don't mean you get respect from others," he pointed out, astute for the first (and possibly last) time in his life. and it was true, at the end of the day. She could defend herself, she could prove herself to be as good as any man or woman on the planet, but it didn't mean anyone was going to treat her differently. Especially if she rose to every little provocation.
Gavin liked to grope. He liked to grope as often as he liked to steal, and to eat, and to stab. He felt it was just one of those things. But he liked Apple more than other women. Hence why he was doing what he was doing. Sure, the alcohol helped loosen him up a bit, but still. It wasn't like he wasn't aware right now (although whether he remembered in the morning was a different matter altogether). He felt her wrap herself around him - hm, he wondered how far he could push this after all. He'd never thought she'd respond at all, not like this.
"I prefer making you guess."
Well then, he'd have to take a stab in the dark. He leaned forward and descended upon her mouth, prepared to kiss her...
And started laughing because a breeze had caused a leaf to drift into his neck, and he was extremely ticklish. He didn't let go of Apple, it was only for a moment, but he had probably ruined the moment.

She looked away. Yes it was true. She strived so hard to get what little respect she got from the camp; and that was a miniscule amount. She was just as good as any of them, if not better! She was willing to do more than most members, well most of the new members. Josh did hardly anything, Tristan was verging on being a pacifist and was a noble sympathiser. Other than Gavin, she was one of the only outlawy outlaws. Yet they still saw her as the cook - even though she couldn't - or just something they could cop a feel of anytime they want. There was only one person Gina allowed to grope her, and he wasn't standing too far away.
"I don't need their respect. Mine is sufficient." It was times like these she was glad she was such a practised liar. She was able to keep her voice calm, though really it should be tearing with emotion. She did want their respect, but she couldn't let them know that. If they knew, then they'd respect her even less which would totally defeat the object. She gave him a glare to back up her point, but it all felt a little half hearted. Gina just hoped it was dark enough and Gavin was drunk enough to not notice.
When Gavin leaned in to kiss her, Regina's heart almost stopped, let alone skipped a beat. She stopped breathing, waiting for the moment his lips touched hers. God she'd wanted this for so long! And it was so close, she could feel his breath mingling with hers. She could taste the ale on his breath, it only made her want this more. A brief second went to how far she'd let this go; but it was only brief. She didn't care. The man she loved was about to kiss her, she was on cloud nine.
And came crashing down very violently. He laughed. He laughed! Yet he still held onto her. Was he teasing her or something? Maybe it was just an accident, something tickling him or something. He was still holding her after all; very close at that. Oh who was she kidding? This was Gavin. Gavin! The guy who got kicks from tormenting her. Of course he was laughing at her. Regina pouted a snarl at him, glaring at the same time.
Gina had three options. Option one; try and push her way out of Gavin's arms then slap him. Option two; stay in his arms (they were keeping her warm and the intoxication was delicious) but knee him in the groin. Or option three; just kiss him anyway. Option was was least likey to work, Gavin was far stronger than her and could stop her from moving with ease - if he wanted to that was. And who knew how he'd react to being slapped. Or being kneed for that matter. She could do a mix of option two and three; knee then kiss. That one she liked.
But she got a better idea. Softening her glare to a small smile, Gina raised to her tiptoes, closing the small gap between her and Gavin. She tightened her grip on him, though she gripped his shoulders rather than holding him in a headlock. She decided to let Gavin respond first, before moving onto phase two of secret option four. And she wanted some enjoyment out of this before she ruined it completely. Maybe she wouldn't do it... No. He'd laughed and she needed payback.
She shifted her weight. It was now or never. That made it sound so life changing. All she was going to do was knee him while he was lulled into the false sense of security. Maybe now she would get some respect round this place. But she'd have to do it, and Gina could feel herself just getting lost in this kiss. It was poisonous. She so should have just kneed him. Which she still had to do now. So she balanced her weight fully onto her left foot, preparing herself for the action. In the next moment, she'd brought her knee up and hit him.

Still chucking slightly, Gavin noticed Regina was pouting, and his drunken stupor allowed a little bit of his well buried conscience to come out and scold him for his mean behaviour. He quashed it ruthlessly. It wasn't like he'd meant to start laughing, was it? It was an instant reaction! He shrugged, the closest he'd ever get to an apology, and he briefly considered explaining.
Nah.
It hadn't even occured to Gavin that Apple might think of doing something in revenge. He'd just figured he hadn't ruined the mood after all, as she was closing the gap. Well, if she was still all for it...
He leaned forward a little himself, feeling her grip tightening - what was it with women, honestly? Did they want to become part of the other person or something? - and he leant down so their lips touched. Hers were softer than he'd thought they would be, for some reason. He didn't know why he thought they'd be like cherries.
He contemplated deepening the kiss, but Apple made the decision of how to proceed for him.
White lights flashed before his eyes in the darkness, and they certainly weren't the good kind.
Letting go of Regina rather quickly, he let out a strange, strangled noise, and his hands went straight to his groin (though a little too late to be of any use protecting himself), and he stumbled backwards a few paces before deigning to collapse to his knees, leaning forward and resting his forehead on the floor as he attempted to recover. By God or Satan, that woman could kick! Well, knee, but that was beside the point. She had power in her legs!
Taking a few deep breaths and calming himself, he turned his head and glared up at his fellow outlaw, unable to quite think up a suitable retort except for "I'm gonna get you for that, you bloody git..."
[-.-;; Bloody git just doesn't have the same effect as other more violent words...]

It came as a surprise to Gina that Gavin didn't take full advantage of their kiss, even if it was very brief. And he was drunk! She would have thought even when he was sober he would have got the most he could out of the kiss. Maybe she hadn't given him enough chance to do so. And now she'd ruined any chance of this happening again. It was his fault, he shouldn't have laughed! Yes, she liked that - it all being his fault. That way she'd feel less guiltly about ruining her life forever, because he ruined it, not her.
She instantly missed his warmth as he stumbled to the floor, doubled up in pain. She felt no remorse for kneeing him. Regina was going to enjoy this, it was payback for all the times he'd tormented her. Well, for some of the times. He'd tormented her a lot, so he needed a lot of payback. She stood in front of him, hands on hips watching him try and recover with a smug smirk playing across her lips. She laughed at his meesely retort.
She crouched down to him, knowing that he could do very little to her in his state. "Oh Gavin, I expected better from you. Still, you deserved this. No one laughs at me and gets away with it unscathed." She gave him a dark look before getting up and returning to her bed. She didn't get in it, but sat on it, looking away to somewhere on the floor outside of the camp.
The triumph of hurting Gavin had washed over. Now she was sad he'd laughed at her. Was she that pathetic? Simple answer; yes. She'd been pining after him for years and the one moment they have together he goes and spoils it! By laughing! Why did she have to love the biggest jerk of them all? Well they were all jerks, but Gavin was the worst. She hated him. She hated loving him. But she still loved him. Maybe he would do something to redeem himself now, but she highly doubted it.

The pain was (slowly) ebbing away now, and he growled as Apple decided to take advantadge of his inconvinence by mocking him, and then buggering off. One of these days, he was going to wipe that grin off her face...
Eventually he managed to sit up, although he had stayed crouched over for longer than necessary - the quick movements had unsettled his stomach and he was feeling a bit more than queasy now. He pushed himself up from the floor and staggered over to Apple's bedspread, plonking himself down beside her, making sure to keep his knees up in defence - he didn't want her kicking him in the groin this time, thanks very much, he'd learnt his lesson (for tonight). He sat for a moment, silent, then punched her arm.
"Weren't laughing at you, you silly bugger," he mumbled, rubbing the back of his head. This wasn't his sort of thing, he didn't apologise, he didn't do emotion so well. Nothing mushy, anyway. He was a straightforward bloke, but Apple was anything but straightforward. Bloody women and their fickle ways...
He wasn't actually going to say sorry either - that was her job, she was the one causing pain to someone. How was it his fault that he'd been tickled? As it was, he decided to just sit and wait for a response, but being rather fidgety, he dumped that plan and grabbed her foot, and started pretending to eat it.
Well, it seemed like a good idea to him.
[My mum's mate eats people's legs when she's drunk. X3 It's hilarious!]

A ruffle of the permenant layer of dead leaves told Gina that Gavin was on the move. Probably to come over and kill her. And he didn't have his knife either, so it'd be a slow death by strangulation. When he sat by her, she turned her head away for two reasons. One, being that she was feeling stubborn and broken; and two, because he didn't want him to see her cry. This was so stupid, of course he was going to break her heart. Why'd she let herself get so caught up in his drunken 'fun'.
She felt a soft punch on her arm and Gavin say what was probably the most apologectic thing he'd ever said in his life. She was quite touched and could feel her heart warming. As she bit her lower lip - still looking away - Gina drew her knees closer to herself. "What were you laughing at then?" She murmured quietly. Gina was about as uncomfortable with this situation as Gavin. Having been brought up by a group of men, Gina didn't really know how to act as a girl. She got dizzy sometimes from her mood swings and high racing emotions; and she didn't know how to handle them. She'd seen the girls of villages going about their lives as if nothing was wrong, even though she knew that they'd be battling in their minds their plights or whatnot. How did they do it?
The silence grew more awkward and the thoughts in her mind grew more unbearable. She was about to say something, just anything, something entirely random; when Gavin grabbed her foot. The action knocked her off balance and Gina had to catch herself on her elbows, to save her head being battered by the rocks upon which they sat. The half lying position she found herself in gave her a good view of Gavin pretending to eat her foot. She stared at him, horrified. He was eating her foot! How weird!
"What are you doing?!" She cried out, flicking the foot which he was munching on, catching him on the face. She instantly regretted it. She sat up fast, now that Gavin had let go, hands covering her mouth in shock. "Oh my God. I'm so sorry. That one you didn't deserve." Now she had ruined it. He'd come over to give the closest thing to a apology Gavin could comprehend and she kicked him in the face! Yes, he'd been eating her foot, but that didn't warrant being kicked in the face. Or did it? Her head was so muddled up at the moment, she hadn't quite recovered from the kiss.
(ooc - godmodded you a bit there, Asla.. sorry! But you saids I could before... I would have asked but you travelled away at a fast pace!)
