Today has been one of those days that just wear you out. If it's not one thing it's another. I really shouldn't go into Nottingham so often. Only bad things come of being in Nottingham. Surely the past is evidence enough.

But I went in anyway, to snoop of all things. Possibly the most stupid things a woman could do, espcially a woman already on thin ice. And it wasn't as if I was going to find anything out. In fact, I didn't. Unless Sebastian Mannering counts as finding something.

Though, I suppose he found us. One has to wonder if he found us by accident or if Alice and I were spotted. Either way, I do not wish to spend any more time than necessary with that noble. He was just a little too friendly.

Shame, he was rather handsome. But that fact will always be cancelled out by the fact he is loyal to Prince John. Well, I think he is. Mannerings always have been, I think.

I don't know what to think in this life. I used to think my brother was loyal to the family, once upon a time. But no, he wants what's best for him. He is pathetic.

I can't leave him five minutes without him having someone try to kill him. Though, that man had some nerve, whoever he was. And the whole of Nottinghamshire knows that I am going to be the death of Brian.

Uh, I am too tired for this. I'm just glad this day is over.
