history: While Sebastian knows of the Merton family he only met Diane on his arrival at Nottingham castle. He is quite happy to flirt with her, and even go further if he can convince her to do so, but he doesn't feel any true affection for her.

history: Sibling rivalry doesn't even begin to cover it with these two. Ever since they were old enough to hate each other, they have. They both have very different views on the world and both are too stubborn to see the other's side.

history: aysey can't stand Daine and thinks she's a brat and... well, a leper. He really doesn't like many women. He treats her with respect, often hiding scathing comments behind a false smile and pleasant tone, and can't wait for the day he can run her through and get her out of the way so he may claim her lands for his own.

history: Nate saved Daine's life by tackling an outlaw who was trying to stab her. He thinks she could have been a little more grateful but since she was pretty out of it and he go a pursefull of loot for his troubles he's willing to let it drop.

history: Theo was with his brother when he tackled Gavin, but spent more time trying to make sure Daine didn't bleed to death, and then spent a while being threatened by her boyfriend potential suitor fellow noble Sebastian. He would have probably liked some gratitude, but they got a purse full of coin, so it's all good.

history: James has probably served Daine in the castle at some point, but he makes a point of not talking to the lords and ladies unless asked to, because he's seen bad things happen to them.

history: Both being noble by birth, Lord Miles is predisposed to having a certain level of respect for the young Lady. That doesn't go very far considering Nottingham's newcomer has taken a bit of joy in pushing the young lady's buttons. He doesn't openly dislike her, but just takes a bit of joy in annoying her.

history: Everybody who was at the fair in Knighton heard about the noble who was stabbed. The news was little more than gossip to Luke as he has not ever met Daine.

history: Alice has known Daine for quite awhile. When she left for Kent, she lost contact, but now that she is back in Nottingham, Daine keeps Alice updated on all outlaw news. They look after each other while under the watchful eye of the Sheriff.

history:: In Liselle's mind there is nothing more pathetic than a woman who flaunts her 'wares'; including but by no means limited to flesh, wit, intelligence and sensuality. Daine seems intent to ittirate the powers that be in Nottingham, and seeing as Liselle is infatuated with most of the bearers of said power it's pretty safe to say that they wouldn't see eye to eye.
