For those of you who don't know, I am a professor of geography, earth science, and meteorology ... sometimes called the geosciences. I have been selected this year .... from June 11th to June 19th to read and grade the essay portions of the Human Geography Advance Placement Exams. I do get paid for this ..... but I will be reading and grading essy for 6-8 hours per day for 7 days. To do this ... I will be flying from my home base in Lansing, Michigan to Lincoln, Nebraska on the campus of the University of Nebraska. I will have internet access ... it it will be limited to the early morning and late afternoon and evening hours, Central Time. So it will be more difficult to get a hold of me ..... but I still expect to access the site some .... even though I will be devoting some of my free time to my online summer courses. This is not to say that I am deeply involved in any threads right now ... but thought that everybody deserved to know where I was heading. Thanks for your time and happy rp...ing!

I am about to begin Day 3 here in Lincoln, Nebraska, where we have been receiving training on how to grade these essays. There are 250 of us grading about 40,000 essays .... so its a busy week ... but just between 8 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon .... Central Time in the U.S.
My laptop died soon after getting here ... but while staff are working on fixing it here ... I'm using some good computers in a computer lab on the first floor of my dormitory ..... so I am able to work on my online classes as well as this site ..... I will be returning to home base on the 19th ... hope to talk to some of you soon!
