"What do you plan on doing with Black Powder, Master?""Me? nothing" he said with a small smile before leaning down and grabbing one of the helmets. "You on the other hand are going to be the one to use it" he said as he placed helmet on Much's head. "I'm going to make sure Marian is safe while she gets her things. I need you to set up the distraction" the plan was easy enough at least in Robin's head.
While Much lights the black powder pouches, tosses the pouches in to the castle court yard it would be the perfect diversion so Djaq and Luke could get Will out safely. All Robin had to worry about was Guy coming out and finding Marian.
(haha I started the new page <3.)

Djaq looked at Much and then handed him the pouches of newly made black powder. "You must light them first, and then throw them in the direction you wish them to go. You don't need to throw them too far." She looked at Much, hoping he could follow the simple directions. If Will was here, he probably wouldn't be as frightened to do so. It always seemed that Will wasn't afraid of her culture as the others were.
Djaq then took the guard uniform from Marian and slipped it on. It was rather bulky and big and she looked small in it, but once the helmet would be put on, no one would notice. "We should get going," she said, her hand gripped tightly around the hilt of her sword. She may have appeared antsy, but she didn't want to wait any longer for fear Will would be too badly injured to even hobble out of Nottingham.

Much looked down at the new found thing in his hand. Black Powder in his power? Were they joking? They wouldn’t normally trust him with this sort of thing. But obviously it had to be Djaq that went to save Will, not him. That only left him. Robin obviously had to keep an eye on Marian. Nobody else could do that either. That left him. Again.
He held the balck powder tight. Light it and throw, and run a little, away. So he didn’t get caught in the blast.
”So I light it, and throw it, and hope that Gisborne comes running away from Marian.” he nodded and then looked worriedly at Robin. ”What if he succeeds this time?”

"He's not going to suceed this time, because I will be prepared." Marian interjected, glancing at Robin, his expression would no doubt be that of worry, and she wanted to be quick to squash this fear. "And," She continued "I will be armed, and with my own powder I can make him back off at the very least."
She waited for Robin to change his mind, to turn around and tell her he didn't want her to go, that it was too dangerous and they would simply have to find another way to distract Gisborne long enough to keep him away from the dungeons, but he didn't. "I'm going to make sure Marian is safe while she gets her things..." he simply said. This was a new part of the plan she hadn't heard before. "And how exactly will you do that?" she questioned hands on hips.

”What if he succeeds this time?”"I won't allow him to" not ever again he said shifting his glance to Marian for moment. He had already almost lost her because of Gisborne he was not going to stand back and let him try again. "And how exactly will you do that?" "Its not that hard to watch you from afar Marian"he said with a faint smile before crossing his arms.
When they were younger before they really knew one another Robin would usually watch her from a safe distance. His father would always say "go talk to the girl" course saying it and doing it were two very different things when your a young boy.

Luke gratefully pulled off the oversized chain mail and accepted the better fitting uniform that Marian offered him. He slipped into the clothing with ease and grinned, this was much better, while a little baggy (were all the guards giants?) it was at least passable as his own. He shifted his arms and took a few steps forward, trying to get used to being dressed in something so heavy and restricting. No wonder the outlaws could always outrun the guards, the armour weighed a tonne!
The gang were all preparing with a confidence and competence that eased the nerves that were beginning to flutter up in Luke's stomach. They all knew what they were doing and they were loyal, he could trust them to help him even if he messed up. Not that he was going to, he frowned, he couldn't afford to for the sake of his brother.
Luke was still worried about how he and Djaq were going to be able to help Will out of the castle. It was all very well aiding a seriously injured man out of the dungeons, but once they got out of the castle they would no doubt be chased and, as much as it pained him to admit it, Will would be in no shape to run.
"I've been thinking." He announced to the group tentatively. He wasn't sure it was a very good idea and he didn't want them to laugh at him or think him even more childish. "When we get out of the castle we'll need to run, but Will might not be able to manage it. If we could get him a horse... It would be easier to lead one than try to carry him. Maybe you could get one Much, before you set up the diversion in the courtyard?" He felt a little stupid for suggesting it already, it was probably a terrible idea.

"That is a good idea Luke," Djaq said truthfully. She had been thinking about the same thing. Will would need to lean on something big to make it back to camp, and though a horse left tracks, it could be used to get back to the forest at least.
Djaq looked over to Robin for his approval. Perhaps they could all use horses so that the escape could be quicker than on foot. One horse could be a little clumsy. She believed Much was up to the task. Everyone always underestimated him, but Djaq rarely did. She believed he could just as much as everyone else, only he talked and grumbled a little more, and his mistakes were a little more obvious, like leading them to the barn in Nettlestone and getting them trapped.

In truth Much was nervous about his bigger role. And getting horses? Since when had that been a part of the deal? He nodded anyway. It was a good idea, and the boy was clearly trying. He was just like his brother in so many ways.
"I can do that. Could we not ride up to the gate, and leave the horses there? Would that not be simpler?" he knew Robin liked to make things complicated. But sometimes they just had to do the simple thing. Today was one of those days. They would be dressed as guards. And guards rode horses. It made sense. Also if they were coming from Knighton, it would hardly make sense for them to have walked.
He pocketed his black powder bunbles and pulled on his guards uniform, leaving the helmet off for now.

Although Marian was touched by Robin's words, she tried not to let it show too much, she caught herself smiling as she turned to the chain mail she had in her hand and started putting it on. She had been right. It was very heavy, and didn't fit all that well, the sleeves came past her hands and the ends of the chain breeches curled underneith her toes. This is going to get annoying she tutted, trying to reposition her feet in the over sized boots that stunk like rotting fish oddly.
She made a mental note to have one long bath when they returned to camp, she tried not to take any notice of the old bloodstains on the sleeves, it conjoured up horrible images, and she wondered how on earth Robin and Much managed to walk around in the Holy Land all those years with anything remotely like this on for all that time.
Marian realised just how good Lukes idea was, she hadn't thought about their escape, just how they would get in. Horses would be relatively easy to get hold of, and it would make there sharp exit quick and with this number of them, they'd be harder to stop if they were all galloping. Luke shouldn't be so hard on himself she though vaguely.

Maybe you could get one Much, before you set up the diversion in the courtyard?" Robin couldn't but smile due to Luke acting his like his older brother. Will would usually think up a plan if Robin and the others couldn't think of one. He could still remember then gang had gotten locked in vault and if it wasn't for Will's quick thinking they all would of hanged.
"Good idea Luke, Much gather the horses we'll leave as soon as possible" the outlaw leader said before reaching down and grabbing his own guard uniform and slipping it on. Course it was little uncomfortable but it would have to do.

Luke glowed with pride as both Djaq and Robin told him it had been a good idea. He smiled widely, the first proper smile he'd given since Will had run off to face Gisborne. It had been his idea and the outlaws were actually going to use it. For the first time he actually felt as though they were bringing him along for a reason, not just because they were a couple of men down.
He paled as Much suggested they all ride up to the castle, then they could all escape on horseback as well. He hadn't thought that the rest of them might end up on horses too. He was a peasant, a carpenter's son, he didn't know how to ride! A new feeling of peril gripped him as he pictured the ride up to Nottingham, slipping off the back of the horse and being trampled to death under it's hooves.
"Um..." He stuttered, his short-lived feeling of pride now completely quashed by the nerves about getting on a horse. "I- Maybe you should just leave me behind after all. I've never ridden before."

You can ride on the back of my horse on the way there, and with Will on the way back. He will probably need another person with him anyway," Djaq said, understanding his worry. Djaq had not been a great horsewoman when she first joined the outlaws. It took a bit of practice and a lot of help from Will to be able to ride through the rough terrain, so she could understand Luke's concerns completely.
Now of course Djaq was like a natural on a horse. "We will need you Luke, for your fighting skills and quick ideas," she said. Even if Djaq was exaggerating to make him feel better, Luke had come up with good ideas.

Much considered it all for a moment. They had to leave and soon. The longer they waited the less likely they were to be able to get Will out, in one piece. He sighed and made sure he had the black powder one more time. Along with some flints to light it with. He held the stones in his hand and practised making a spark before pocketing them.
”We go to Nottingham/? he asked wearily before pulling up the chain mail over his ears and placing the helmet on his head. Today they did this. For the first time since there return, they went to the castle.
Much worried. It was what he did best after all. He thought about the plan. Marian having to distract Guy. Certainly Robin hadn’t agreed to that easily. In fact he knew he wouldn’t have and they probably argued over it. Sure, Robin would be lurking in the shadows ready to act if Guy tried anything, but last time they met he’d tried to kill her. So he had a right to worry about her.
He worried about Will. And in turn Djaq. If he died he didn’t know what the girl would do. He was certain she felt more for him than friendship and him her. If anything happened to him, it would affect everybody. He was as important to the gang as Robin. They needed him, more than Will needed them he was almost certain.
He worried about Luke. His brother was in captivity, most probably being tortured by a man more vile than the devil himself. He had already lost his mother, and father to the dictator. He couldn’t lose his brother as well.
He even worried about Allan. Yes he was safe, probably chatting up the poor peasant girl. But if he was found by any guard he would be recognised and taken instantly o the castle. He was nearly definitely certain that his life wouldn’t be spared. Guy would kill him for his ‘betrayal’.
All in all - Much was deeply troubled. Much more of this thinking lark and his brains would over heat. He would implode on himself and then who would cook for the outlaws?

As the rest of the gang got set to go, Marian made her way over to Robin who was fiddling with some straps on the side of the chain mail. "Here." She said, freeing his hands and pulling the straps tighter for him. She tried to ignore his cocky grin but it got the better of her, and she let the left side of her mouth rise in a small smile, tittering to herself that he could save England, but stuggled doing up his new costume. "Be careful" she said, "And shall be too." She lifted her head and gave him a small peck on the cheek. Now wasn't the time for bickering. It was the time for fighting.

"We go to Nottingham?" "We go to Nottingham" Robin said with a nod before reach down to fiddle around with the straps to the chain mail. "Here." pulling his hands away he watched as Marian helped him in to the chain mail. He couldn't help but let a small form as she did so. When she had finished he raised his eyes to look at her. He smiled again feeling the kiss brush against his cheek.
"Be careful and I shall be too." as she turned to walk away he reached out and grabbed her by the elbow lightly turning her back to him. "Just...get what you need and get out a fast as you can alright?" he said not trying not to sound worried which he clearly was. If Guy had any spare chance to cause Marian harm he most likely would.
He didn't even want to think what would happen if Marian ever died. He had almost gone through it before, the rage, the hate...the blood lust it was like the Holy Land only much worse. He could still count how many of the Sheriff's and Guy's men he had killed after Marian "had" died. Just remembering that he had sent several men to their graves because of his own revenge driven rage made him sort of sick to his stomach.
